We’re very sorry to hear the bed was too firm for your liking. Mattress firmness is a very individual preference (numerous past guests have commented on the comfort of the bed). We just purchased a Wamsutta fiberfill topper that can be removed for those wanting a firmer sleep. We also maintain a 24-hour maintenance line to address any issues pertaining to our guest’s comfort—and we would gladly addressed this if you had let us know while you were here.

One of the challenges for the vacation rental owner is furnishing the property so that it will appeal to a wide cross-section of guests with varying tastes. Most owners end up furnishing to their own style, so we (the management company) post lots of photos of the properties we manage so that prospective guests may select an option in which they will feel comfortable. We hope that you will peruse our listings and select one for your next stay that is more to your liking.

Thank you for the review. We repaired the ceiling fans and there are additional fans in the closets.... but I'm afraid there isn’t any room to add a chair.

The privacy and security of our guests is not a subject we take lightly. Our inspector is mortified over his mistake and hopes you will accept his sincere apology (he misread the schedule). We manage over one hundred properties and have performed thousands of inspections in the last thirty-plus years without incident, so we want to assure you (and any future visitors) that this was a one-time error. We understand the housekeeper arrived just after your scheduled departure time, but in both cases, entering without knocking is strictly against company policy, and we have reminded all our staff of this fact. Lastly, we are happy to accommodate late check-outs if available (and with adequate notice to reschedule the housekeeping staff). We’ll pass on your other suggestions to the owner, and we do hope you will visit us again.
