“This was a nice hotel. It was renovated in the spring of 2025. It is not fancy but a clean and nice place to stay for a weekend visit. We needed to be there for a funeral.
The hotel is close to restaurants, a grocery store and Deer Park Mall, which is a fabulous open air mall”

“Overall a decent stay, but amenities fell short of expectations
The room itself was comfortable and met expectations, which was a highlight of the stay. However, a few areas left much to be desired given the price point.
The breakfast offering was noticeably limited — just breads, yogurt, and waffles, with no juice or beverages available. For a hotel at this price range, a more complete breakfast spread would be expected.

“Sometimes my opinion of a place depends on the quality of breakfast, and if it was free. Breakfast wasn't free, and it was just okay.
Not the fault of the hotel, but I should have been able to walk to the Convention Center, but due to construction all routes were blocked, which required getting an Uber, since I had no car.
The staff was pleasant, the room was clean. Really a fine place. I'd stay there again.”

“The website said this property was renovated in 2023. I think 1973 would be more accurate. Very very outdated and very very dirty. We left due to mold in bathroom that was so bad my husband, who has asthma, couldn't breathe. The paint is peeling, the carpet was sticky, the furniture was stained and chipped, the AC units were falling off the walls, wallpaper growing mold. It was awful. We booked the suite expecting a comfortable experience. It was a nightmare. We left early,”
