Fun Beach House with Pool

Welcome to our “Fun Beach House with Pool!”
Our home is both fun and peaceful for an unforgettable family and friends get-away. Come enjoy our double decks where you can BBQ, relax and enjoy the pool. Our house is located on the canal and across the street from the beach. From our upper deck, come watch the sunsets and stargaze at night.
Our two-story home is set up with two separate living quarters with separate entrances. Upstairs has a large open kitchen and living space with two bedrooms, two full baths and a sleeping loft with two twin mattresses. Our downstairs comes with an open kitchen and living space with two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The entire house can be used as a four-bedroom house for large families or two separate living areas for larger groups.
Bring your beach gear with you, so you can take a stroll across the street to the endless beaches of Alligator Point. Public beach access is across the street on Alligator Point Drive to the left of the house. Pick up shells, make sandcastles, watch the seagulls, and see the dolphins around sunset. Or you can fish right off the beach! Join our family tradition: Grab a drink at sunset, walk down to the beach and see the bright pink sky over the water as the sun disappears over the horizon.
Whether you are coming here to chill, fish, or play, our “Fun Beach House” is cheery and comfy with a variety of spots to play games, read a book, or take a splash in the pool. Both of our eat-in open kitchens with breakfast bars (down and upstairs) are equipped with basic kitchen needs to cook family meals. We also have two grills, one charcoal and the other gas. We either bring fish straight from our fishing excursions or from our favorite fresh fish store “My Way” in Panacea to grill and eat either outside or in! Both upstairs or down has flat screen TVs with cable, in case you can’t miss a game. And the house is equipped with wifi. If you have ANY questions about the house before or during your stay please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Amazing location! Take bath towels, Tupperware, and pots, if cooking for a crowd. Fridges were not working when we were there but we used coolers the first couple days until he got it fixed. Host was very accessible and willing to help with any problems.

Fair, I would say nice but not what I expected

The overall house was nice. A few minor things, the pool started to turn green but was fixed the next day, the dishwasher didn't really work, the air conditioning unit leaked (a lot) and the TV downstairs did not work, we had to buy a Roku stick for tv for my in-laws. But the owner was very attentive and the beach was a short walk. I wasn't expecting the water to be so dark at the beach tho. It was a nice stay overall for the price.

Bed bugs

Arrived to the home after approximately 12 hours of driving. Checked the home before bringing luggage in and found bed bugs as well as an obviously poorly cleaned home. Found bed bugs in one bed and had everyone get out so we wouldn’t carry them on us. The pool water was dirty(couldn’t see to the bottom) clumps of hair all over the edges of every room, the grill was unusable as it was rusted out, the door downstairs was unlocked because it was broken when we arrived, and my kids even found empty chip bags and chips all over the loft. Called the owner first, left him a message. Didn’t hear back from him and didn’t know what to do, so called VRBO, and was on the phone with them for about 3 hours sitting outside the rental.Sent VRBO the pictures of the filth and bed bugs, and finally found another rental starting the next day. VRBO booked us a hotel for the night because of the pictures I sent them and said I would be fully refunded.(they also had no luck reaching the owner). Exhausted my family and I arrived at our hotel for the night around 9 pm. We hadn’t even eaten yet, and about that time the owner of the home finally called me back- at this point we had already booked and paid for another rental for the week and were exhausted from travel all day. I have rented for years from VRBO and had only good things to say about the places we visited, but I can safely say, I will never use this company again. I have yet to be refunded

Great place for family fun

Although our stay was cut short by hurricane Debby, we had a great time! The beach is right across the street, the marina is down the road and if you have a flats boat, you can tie up at the house. Overall, a great location to take a large family or two smaller families!

AWESOME AT ALLIGATOR POINT

We had great pool time and ate at Angelos two nights and ate at Tiki Hut on the Point and food/Margaritas and service was Amazing there too! Nice house to just hang out at.....We didn't even mind the rain!

Great Family Gathering Place

We had a fun week with family in Alligator point. The house is an easy walk to the beach, comfortable and well-equipped, dog friendly. It was too cold to use the pool but we enjoyed fishing off the dock. There are a few issues like the grills are rusted out and the dishwasher doesn't clean well, but overall it's a great, relaxed and relaxing place. Also be careful of the water - comes out boiling hot!
