When I decided to drag my family to Disney Paris, I already expected a tourist trap. But Dream Castle Hotel didn’t just meet those low expectations—it obliterated them, plunging into depths of incompetence I didn’t think possible.
Check-In Chaos
Despite arranging early check-in, we were told at 2 PM that rooms wouldn’t be ready until after 3 PM. Thats fine and somewhat understandable. Its the month of august with lots of guests so they have to run a tight shift.
The "Fabulous" Room Experience.
After an hour-long wait, we finally got our keys—only to face the ”elevator roulette”. Two barely functioning lifts for a 400-room hotel, with no working indicator lights. The third-floor hallway was a filthy disgrace: stained carpets, trash everywhere. The room? Not clean. The bathroom? Disgusting. It’s like housekeeping gave up years ago and no one noticed.
Breakfast: A Culinary Crime
My 9-year-old called it "dog food." I had no rebuttal.
Most hotels at least keep the lobby clean since that’s where management hangs out. But Dream Castle went the extra mile—every single area was filthy.
From the Disney Magic shuttle bus to the entrance, lobby, elevators, pool, hallways, and right into the disgusting dirty rooms, not a single space was spared. No attempt at cleanliness, no pride in presentation—just complete neglect, everywhere.
When a hotel can’t even bother to fake it in the lobby, you know you’re in for a treat!.
