The grounds are really lovely with a large lap pool and plenty of space to soak up the sun or just relax. The house is located very well with excellent access to Lucca, Pisa or the coast of Italy. “The house is as described. It is one half of a house, that is rented as well, so there can be other people around. A downside is that the house is up a steep hill. The road is small and needs some courage, but is totally do-able. We mostly drove by car instead of walking up and down. An upside is the cute neighbours cat, which visites occasionally. The landlady is very kind and even asked during the stay if everything is alright. All in all a great stay 👍”

“The house met all our expectations and we had a great week. The view over the hills is fantastic! The pool area is lovely and some days we spent whole days around here, a plus is that the depth is 2,4 m in the deep end. The house is placed on the east side of the hill, so during hot summer days it is not too hot at bed time. The bed rooms has also air conditioning. “A beautiful traditional old house in acres of land. Good sized rooms (but if using the rooms on the mezzanine be aware that access is via the other bedrooms). Some things a little tired compensated by some beautiful old pieces. It is remote - there was a decent supermarket approx 15 mins walk but not much else - again, fine for us as we just wanted to relax but don't expect to be able to walk to nightlife! A great break and we loved it”

“The Villa is in a great location. Up in the hills with a beautiful view. My family enjoyed staying here. The location is very close to a train station which allowed us to travel many different places after a 20 minute drive to get to the station. Morning and evenings were picture perfect.
