Nice cabin with a view
This property is just as described: clean, equipped, cozy, perfect for a quiet time to relax and visit Paso Robles. The kitchen has quaint appliances, such as a wall-toaster and old fashioned oven that totally worked! We cooked full meals and felt like a blast from the past. Thank you for hosting us.

Perfect Wedding Weekend Retreat!
The VRBO is in a ranch-like environment complete with longhorn cattle and a very friendly cat! When you walk in the door, you’re met with a very cool large chandelier made of oxen yolks. In one corner is a rock fireplace that is non-functional but true to the 1970’s character of the home. The living room area is very spacious and comfortable. Alicia was friendly and responsive to emails and phone calls. The property was clean, private and peaceful. This property would be ideal for anyone seeking a country and western vibe. We felt like we went back in time! Very relaxing! Loved it!

Lovely Property, Fabulous Host
We were very happy with our time at Vintage Adelaida Lodge. It's a charming property. I loved how well stocked I found the kitchen. They had everything I needed to prepare meals for the two of us (after shopping for groceries at Trader Joes!) The location is a mere 10 minutes from Paso Robles with its wide array of great restaurants, but since we were there for a week we didn't want to eat out all the time. This property was perfect. Alicia, the host, was fabulous! We were there during a fierce storm that blew a tree down across the driveway cutting off our access out. She had a crew there within an hour and 2 hours later we were able to drive out and go have a coffee in town. (It was a BIG tree!) The storm also caused some electrical problems and again Alicia was quick to have someone come address the issue and make sure we were comfortable. I give her 5 stars! My only disappointment was that the fireplace wasn't working - the cold, rainy days of our stay would have been cheered by a fire. But I'm confident she will also have whatever the problem is solved shortly. That's how she is.

Great getaway
We had a great time at the Vintage Lodge. We found it a fun mix of modern and rustic in location far enough to feel away but convenient to stores and wineries. Pups were very comfortable and well suited for their stay too.

Beautiful Property, great location.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this VRBO. This cozy farm house was perfect for our Paso Robles trip. Close to amazing wineries and conveniently located close to town but not too close. We enjoyed looking at the stars at night, all the wild life, the long horns and hearing the dueling owls at night. The host was prompt with communication and accommodating. We had a great time.

Quiet and Restful
Only ten minutes from downtown the lodge is easy access to wineries and main roads. The house was spacious, clean, and well supplied. The local longhorn pets were an added treat.

A Lovely, Memorable Property
A friend and I came up to Paso for a mellow girls weekend and thought this listing was fun and quirky. It was, but photos don't convey how well appointed and beautiful it really is. Very comfortable and the rustic, rural feel of the property was so relaxing, even through you aren't far outside of the town proper. We also really enjoyed some of the neighboring wineries and organic market, so the location was fantastic overall. I felt bad because I missed a message from the host (I don't have the app on my phone and wasn't really checking email) but it wasn't anything super time sensitive so it seemed to work out just fine. I would totally stay here again; it would be a fantastic option for 2 couples as well.

Wine Tasting Birthday Trip
We loved our stay at the Vintage Adelaida Lodge! Close proximity to the wineries that we had planned to visit. Philip and Alecia were wonderful hosts. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms, private. We spent some great evening time around the fire pit. Great time had by all!

Perfect girls’ bday weekend!
Loved Adelaide property. Wonderful place for our girls’ bday weekend. Wine tasting during the day, massages and dinner in the afternoons, more wine and games in the evening. It was a great weekend and lovely place to stay. Clean, bright, open space loaded with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. Thank you!

Incredible Adelaida Rd Home
Alicia’s property is so special! The location is so perfect to quickly access both downtown and vineyards. There is cell reception which I didn’t think would be possible! Alicia was incredibly accommodating with us adding to our reservation & all additional questions we had. We stayed here for our wedding which was at a nearby vineyard. It was so nice to be able to have our pup with us, and be so convenient to our venue! The longhorn cattle are so cool. The barn kitties are super sweet and the property and decor are absolutely stunning. We just wish we had been able to also rent the connected loft! It looks beautiful and would have been so cool to rent both. Alicia even left us what we’d need to make s’mores! I’m so sad we didn’t have time to enjoy them, but what a sweet gesture! Thank you so so much!!

Everything was quite clean and comfortable. Only complaints would be that I wasn’t informed the gas fireplace was out of service prior to booking/arrival and the main television was difficult to impossible to use. Neither of those would stop me from booking again.

Cozy holiday stay
Very cozy and spacious home. The bed was very comfortable, the house was warm and cozy for all the rainy days we had, the stargazing at night was incredible, and we had a great stay! The kitchen was a bit challenging due to the very old school stove/oven, but once we figured it out it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, the fireplace wasn't working while we were there which was a bummer since we were looking forward to it. Also, if you're bringing a dog, it's hard to take walks from the house since there are no sidewalks and barely any space on the side of the main road to walk. The flip side to that though, is it's very nice to be within walking distance to a handful of delicious wineries, a distillery, and an organic farm. And there are so many more wineries and amazing restaurants all within a 15 min drive from the house. Overall, a great stay!

Ok - loved the throwback feel of this property. Everything was very comfortable. Beds were comfortable and the shower was good. I liked that the property was spacious, yet still felt welcoming. Two cats roaming around the outside of the property were definitely a plus. However, two major problems. The first is that you can't lock the place when you leave - no key and no instructions on how to use a key pad to lock it. Second issue is the secondary rental property. This one was being used by someone who had a Uhaul in there every morning very early and was either stealing everything in the place - or had just brought way too much stuff with them. When I'm on vacation, I don't want to wake up early (both Saturday and Sunday) to a moving truck. It is obvious that the owner/proprietor doesn't actually come to the property and just hires a service to clean. (Fridge contained condiments that had been opened over 6 months previous.) (No review sheets available in the book - and the last one was dated early August.) In addition - if you stay here, bring your own toiletries - while they have body wash and shampoo bottles in the shower area - the body wash was completely empty - so don't expect those things. Loved the outdoor firepit and patio area - tiny but wonderful. It was nice sitting out watching stars and making smores (supplies provided by the management). I would recommend the place - but with caveats.

The house was an amazing place to stay in the heart of Paso Robles wine country. It was a very cool retro place with a throwback to the 1970s. Although it was a throwback to the 70s there were plenty of modern conveniences and updated appliances that had been added. I highly recommend staying there.

Lovely Property in Wine Country
This is a lovely house located in wine country, and is just a short drive to downtown Paso Robles. The kitchen is a bit outdated, but had all the usual amenities. The two bedrooms were very nice, and the living room w/ fireplace looked to be a very cozy place. The property is beautiful, and there's wildlife all around; we spotted some wild turkeys and condors. We spent the evening outside by the gas firepit enjoying local wine and had a great time. There is one additional rental next door to the house, but it is well separated and we didn't bump into the other renters during our stay.

Back Again!
We enjoyed our stay at your place last year and didn’t get an opportunity to take advantage of the roomy kitchen and BBQ. This time we got to host our friends for dinner who were staying at a nearby hotel. The remodeling in the bathroom and master bedroom look just as good as they did last year. We love the vintage kitchen and everything worked great. Our dogs were very comfortable too. We appreciate you allowing our XL dogs as most places have a weight or one dog restriction. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Relaxing stay
While this was just a quick trip for us, we really enjoyed the lodge and amenities. The vintage vibe is awesome and we really enjoyed being in wine country versus downtown. The rooms were very comfortable, the bathroom is updated and very nice, we enjoyed relaxing I. The living room after wine tasting. Great stay! And Alicia was very accommodating and friendly. We'd absolutely stay here again.

The location as to the wineries is outstanding, privacy factor off the charts!! But the home lacks many of the much needed items for comfort and is seriously out of date. The owners response time is awesome!!! Everything you needed answers to she was responsive in minutes, no basic TV is rough and should have been pointed out, kitchen lacked many things as far as pans and bowls but had the basics which was great, appliances are old but worked well, it was wonderful they had extra towels, TP etc this home goes the extra mile just still needs help but give them time, when speaking to the wineries we found out they are new owners, they took on a big project and shown outstanding concern for their guest, give them a try you won’t be dissatisfied your just not blown away but heck your their for the wine right???

Thank you Tricia for your review. We have posted the pictures to reflect exactly what we have, everything is functional and we love the vintage charm, we left some of the original character intentionally. We have tried and tested everything to make sure it is easy to use and functions as intended. We fell in love with the property over a year ago and have tried keep Vintage what we can. All amenities are posted in the app to reflect what the home has available, as noted we don’t have the ability to have cable in the country, but we do provide Netflix and DVDs. We are continuing to work on the property and adding some hiking paths. We hope you can come back soon for your next visit to Paso Robles. Thanks Alicia

We stayed Oct 1-5 and it was our first (but not last!) stay in Paso Robles. This is a great little house to stay in and was perfect for us because we needed separate bedrooms. It's very quiet and nestled up against a wooded hill. We saw and heard coyotes every night and am! I'm from Texas and ours don't look nearly as beautiful and healthy! The cows below us were fun to watch and one of the calves took an interest in me till it realized I didn't have any food! :-). Alicia was very responsive and she's so sweet, I asked her if they had a blender and she went and bought one for us! Everything was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items , coffee fixins, and every spice you can imagine. (they even left us makings for smores!). The bathroom comes with a hairdryer, plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner and bath wash among other things. Overall this was a great little place to stay! I highly recommend you check out the Mt Olive Organic Farm which is literally next door within walking distance of the house (to left of driveway). Great food and they have olive oil tasting! Take that food and go to Crede's vineyard to have a picnic lunch and some wine on their patio! Stunning view of the vineyards and really great people! The husband is from New Zealand and he and his wife were great to talk to! Thomas Hill Organic Restaurant was so good we ate there twice! The salmon and ribeye will literally melt in your mouth! Then check out Udo Shart who runs the Highlander Inn. He offers vineyard tours. So if you want to do some wine tours and not worry about a DUI (you drink more wine then you realize going from place to place), he will drive you around. He is very personable and a gentleman. Opens the doors for you and just great company. This was overall an amazing trip and we had so much fun! Great place to stay and within close proximity to multiple vineyards as well as town, yet far enough away the sky explodes with stars at night!

Charming country cottage in the center of wine country
This 2 bedroom one bath home was clean and well appointed. A combination of rustic, retro, eclectic and modern amenities made our stay comfortable and fun. It was within 10 minutes of good restaurants in Paso Robles with wineries on every corner. We enjoyed chilling in the evenings while grilling our own meals at this private, relaxed rural setting. Great renovations and very comfortable
We really enjoyed our stay and thankful they welcomed our dogs. Very clean, renovation in bathroom is gorgeous, thoughtfully decorated, welcoming patio, very cute set up for outside washer and dryer. The refrigerator went out and they were there to reset the breaker in less than 5 minutes. Very caring. They are finishing up some renovations in the next house and it looks gorgeous when we peaked in. Texas Longhorns on the property were really neat. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Wonderful clean home in beautiful Paso Robles
This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property while attending wood working classes from a local artist in town. It’s a bit dated in the front part of the home but everything works and it’s like a flashback to Brady Bunch times. I say that in a positive way. I love it! The back of the home has a renovated bathroom and bedroom and they are super nice. Excellent quality beds, bedding, towels etc. 100% I’d stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this unique spot. The location was wonderful, in the heart of wine country, yet very close to Paso Robles. We wished there had been instructions for the fireplace, since we could not get it going. Be aware that there is very limited TV options here, which was great for some of us.

Perfect for race weekend
We booked the Adelaida Lodge for the Paso Robles Wine Country Run weekend. It was perfect! Alicia was a helpful host and we loved staying in this spacious and cozy cabin. Peaceful countryside
Loved this place from the moment we arrived. Open and spacious two-bedroom overlooking the pasture. The owners are doing a great job with this place. The fireplace is currently not operational but perhaps it will on one of our future trips to Paso Robles. Too many vineyards just down the road to begin to mention and less than 10 minutes from all of the downtown restaurants. Highly recommended. We will be back again.
