Amazing Time Capsule!

Pebble beach mid century perfection
We were 3 couples in which this home accommodated us perfectly and so welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time exploring the history that was shared and admiring the fun and unique decor throughout the space. Great Place, Perfect Location
Comfortable home on 17 mile drive, a short walk to the Lone Cypress. Kitchen is well appointed, beds are great and lots of outdoor space to watch the waves break on the cliffs. Will definitely be going back.

Beautiful Getaway
We so enjoyed our 3-day stay with two other couples. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfy and plenty of extra towels and sheets were provided. The kitchen had everything anyone would need. The setting is so peaceful and we enjoyed being able to see the ocean from most rooms in the house. Sitting on the patio with the firepit going and listening to the sounds of the ocean was so restful. The check-in and check-out process was easy. We particularly enjoyed the three-ring binder in the kitchen that had ALL the info you could possibly need. But what we really enjoyed about the binder was reading the history of the original owner (so interesting) and seeing the before and after pictures of the remodel. So well done! We would love to return again. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us!

Great house, fantastic location, wonderful host!
The Cole House is a very comfortable California style home with lots of glass to view the ocean across the street, and fully updated living and kitchen areas with decorative nods to the home's 1960's heritage. Multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas provide ample space to visit or just relax and listen to the waves. It was a great house and location for our group of three couples. The owner and local team were great!

Lovely property
We had a wonderful time here. The house is walking distance to the Lone Cypress. We spent several hours on the terrace in front of the fire pit listening to some music and drinking some good California wine.

Family Get Away
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cole House. It was a little getaway for our all-adult family. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking our dinners in and the kitchen was fully equipped. Extra bonus was each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. The large family room was a great place to spread out and relax with great views. We would stay at the Cole House again.

Overwhelming location
Could not put into words how incredible this place is from location to how well outfitted it is. We have stayed in countless incredible places from Kapalua, Kauai, Kaanapali, Sea Ranch… this is the best place we have ever stayed.

17 Mile High
Wonderful property located in a fantastic location. Walk to the lone cypress and enjoy the beauty of the coast. Wake up to deer and hummingbirds flying outside your windows. Perfect location to explore Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey. My family had a lovely time and the home was perfect for enjoying everyone’s company but spacious enough for my two teens to have their own space. The host had everything you needed to kenjoy meals at home and s’mores by the fire. Simply magical. Definitely would recommend this beautiful home.

Simply the best!
We loved the view of the ocean and surrounded by forest while having our coffee next to the fire pit. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is gourmet with a coffee station. The beds were heavenly. I will definitely stay again! Thank you for opening your beautiful home!

Amazing Mid-Century Forest House
The house was everything described. The layout was perfect for 3 adult couples and a large gathering of family and friends. Communication with owner and house manager for excellent. We loved sitting on the patio - overlooking trees and the view of the ocean. The house was so well stocked with cooking items. We felt as though we could have moved right in! We would definitely stay here again.

Happy Hideaway among the Cypress Trees
From the beginning, this was a great experience. The communication with the owner and property manager put us at ease right away. We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location! As golfers, we were among the best courses in the land. The house is funky, retro and inviting and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to take advantage of all of the outdoor activities the area has to offer.

Best VBRO Property!!
The place was just as advertised AND more!!! We enjoyed the yoga mats, plush carpets, and bath robes. It was nice sitting on the back deck with the fire pit and a blanket. They do an EXCELLENT job cleaning the place and windows were spotless to highlight the amazing views.

Wonderful stay
We rented the house for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated us (a family of six-grandparents, parents and 2 teenagers.) It is clean and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, the towels and bedding are good quality, and the views are incomparable We had excellent communication with Tracy, the owner, and Cheryl, the manager. Beautiful Retreat
This was our second year staying at this property and it was just as magical as before. The house is absolutely beautiful and comes equipped with everything you could ever need. The only problem you will run in to is not wanting to leave the house to explore because it's so comfortable.

Exceptional Property in Perfect Location
We enjoyed 6 nights staying at this Del Monte Forest property for a long awaited family reunion. We loved the house, it was perfect for a relaxing stay while allowing some family members space to work. The property was very clean and one of the best equipped houses I have ever stayed in. Magical location
My husband and I and our two dogs were extremely happy at this house. The location is convenient to the Pebble Beach shops and dining. The view of the trees and ocean is breathtaking. The home is really done well - aesthetics are the perfect mid-century modern style, the beds are comfortable and parking is easy. We will be back!

Perfect Getaway
The property was as advertised, and we greatly enjoyed both the amenities provided and the overall location. The owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful when answering questions about the property or the area. This home was perfect for two or three couples looking to enjoy Monterey, Pebble Beach, and Carmel. Every need was provided for, and we had the space and amenities to provide us with a memorable vacation. Would 100% recommend this property if you are looking to downs time in Monterey.

Getaway
We expected to have a few days with our family preparing to send our son off to Italy which is where he goes to school. Unfortunately my daughter got sick so my husband stayed home with her. My son and I ended up inviting our friends. It was amazing. Both boys were days away from going back to college. The four of us have known and loved each other since the boys were in preschool. This beautiful home and the land it sits on was perfect. The view alone was discussed at least hourly. We went on walks, went to the fish market and cooked every meal at home. The kitchen was so well stocked. I can’t say enough on the comfort we felt. I plan on coming back with my husband and parents. I really want them to share this beauty.

An architectural treasure & magnificent sunsets
This house is a gem nested in the beautiful section of the 17 mile drive with views of dancing cypress trees, blue ocean and the gold colors of the Lone Cypress granite headland. It reminded me of the Frank Loyd Wright organic design where inside and out blend beautifully. The house is filled with warm day and sunset lights. You can relax in the multi garden levels, read, and relax. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to be instantly comfortable. We loved all the well-organized amenities and the multi level set up and superb functionality. Thank you for making my sister's 50th birthday memorable and sharing your beautiful home with us. Many thanks to the host for her generosity.

Spectacular!
Exceeded our expectations and was a fabulous 60th birthday weekend for my husband with friends. Unfortunately one of the couples had to cancel last minute but the four of us enjoyed the entire house. The view of the ocean and sunsets were spectacular and watching deer and other critters roam freely was great. House is amazing loved the mid-century decor! We would highly recommend and definitely stay again and again!!!
