“Nöjd med allt.”

“Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

“Great staff, friendly and very well informed Room was great, restaurant was excellent, bar was fantastic.”

“The hotel looked nicer in the pictures than it was in reality. Very small and worn rooms, which were damp and uncomfortable. The room was very sensitively. No paintings or any color. The bathroom was disgusting with a toilet seat that didn't fit the toilet seat. Very cramped bathroom with an old and worn shower. The double bed was only 140 cm wide. Too narrow for two persons. The public areas looked nice, but they also need renovation. The breakfast was Quitos limited. Canned tomatoes and no...

“Everything about the room was Perfect, also the helpful staff and gated parking, easily accessable and very central. The breakfast located in somewhat lower class restaurant, but very good and with helpful staff.”

“Really enjoyed our stay”

“Absolutely lovely stay again the staff were friendly and were genuinely interested in your stay and ensuring you was having a great time. Rooms were spotless as always and was able to park with ease.”

“Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend”

“We stayed for two nights and while the room could best be described as adequate, the public areas are spacious, clean and well-decorated. There’s a large car park; the food’s delicious and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Although the room was small and a bit dingy, we’d stay again simply because the people are so nice.”

“Hotellet låg nära motorvägen. Fönstret gick inte stänga. Därför vad det svårt att sova. Det var mycket störande. Personalen ville inte byta rummet. Rekommenderar inte.”

“There weren't shops or much nearby. But i think the purpose of this lodge is that you get to see the countryside and visit the 3 peaks Yorkshire as it's the closet by 27 mins drive. Plus it got a bath tub which is needed after a long hike.”

“We have a lovely stayed here. Very peaceful. All staff very friendly and helpful a d the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again and make use of the pool facilities next time.”

“Helt ok.boende,rent och bra läge.”

“Underbart litet hel äkta Engelskt familjeägt hotell”

“Lovely suite with a private garden terrace. Super sandwiches for lunch outside on the terrace, we were lucky with the weather. The only disappointment was with the à la carte main course. There was very limited choice and the fish and the beef fillet were overcooked, a shame for a Michelin star restaurant but we did not complain and it took a long time for our plates to be cleared, but the desserts were great and they were having a busy day.”

“Lovely cosy accommodation but not in the inn itself. Well equipped but was cold on arrival, had to turn radiators on. Comfy bed and in a stunning location. Lovely pub with open fire.”

“Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Great value for money. Hosts warm, friendly, welcoming, there if you needed anything but also left you alone if that's what you wanted also. Excellent wi fi. Dog friendly. Lovely welcome gift, you will have to book if you want to know what that is. Have already decided to book again for our next trip.”
