Pen Yen Stay

The main area of house was clean and well stocked. The issue we had was that we were traveling with 8 people and a baby to attend a wedding near by and needed the bed beds downstairs to accommodate everyone but we were not able to use the downstairs area due to it being so smelly and musty. Since we were not able to use that area, some of us were forced to sleep on the floor. Also, after 2 showers we ran out of hot water which made getting ready for the wedding we were in town for very difficult. Probably wouldn't come back.

Peaceful Getaway Spot

We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved that there were toys, ride on toys, trikes and bikes for the kids . Lots of room to run and play. We enjoyed the firepit and chairs were plentiful. The beds were comfortable and we were provided with everything we needed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the downstairs was damp and musty. Even though there was a dehumidifier running 24/7 it was still damp and musty. We only used it one night for sleeping as it was too uncomfortable for sleeping. This would be the only reason we wouldn't return if we had more than 6 for sleeping.

Nice house in a beautiful location

We wandered the Finger Lakes region during the day, returning to the house for a relaxing evening around the fire pit. The house was very clean and welcoming in a quiet setting.

Quiet weekend getaway

House is well-appointed with full kitchen and amenities. No grill but you can have a nice fire in the fire pit. Would be great for families, with basement game room and yard for play.

Nice Getaway

No TV or Wifi can be a little odd to get used to in 2021 but my family stayed here and love the experience. It is a great home and property. Not too far from Penn Yan, Geneva, and Watkins Glenn. Bring bug spray Lol -- But overall we loved it.

Property was extremely clean and spacious. We enjoyed the stay!

No wifi made it tough to search places to eat. All rooms had AC units but the common area was toasty during the day. All in all this is a great rental! Would definitely recommend!

Pen Yan Stay

Great Place, Well stocked with towels soaps dishware etc. Bedrooms air conditioned. Plenty of Fans. Basement mostly below ground stayed cool. Loved the quiet Outside. Fire pit with plenty of seating . some quaint little trails thru font wooded area❤️Would definitely go back. loved it❤️

Very Satisfied

Property is in a nice and somewhat secluded lot. It is very clean. Good parking, nice fire pit with provided chairs. Kitchen utensils were satisfactory. Deck is small but nice. Note: there is no Wi-Fi, television or radio. Also no barbeque grill. Love the lights along the driveway.

Quiet Getaway

This house was perfect for our family, able to hold all of our adult children and their children. Conveniently located between Keuka and Seneca Lakes, it gave us the opportunity to spend a little time at each lake, with not a lack of things to do or see. Even the rainy day inside was great to play games, with plenty of toys for the kids as well. The fire pit outside helped create a "camping" feel while remaining comfortable and dry with all the amenities of home. Great place to stay!

Great rental

We stayed at this property to be in close proximity to Geneva for a race weekend. This property did not disappoint! Very clean and plenty of space, our children had a great playspace in the finished basement which most places do not have. The property is secluded and very quite, but just minutes to more vineyards than you can count, lake views around the corner and Geneva, Watkins Glen and Canandaigua all within 20-30 minutes! My ONLY issue is there is no wifi, which normally does not bother me, but also the cellular service was minimal. It made it hard to research where to go from the house, but did not necessarily take away from anything either. Just more inconvenient at times. Otherwise a great place, would stay again!

Loved the place

Overall head an excellent and very enjoyable stay. Excellent location and nice spread out property with large front and back yard and a nice fire pit which we used on both the nights there. Minor issues related to the property being somewhat dated. The lack of TV and Wifi was already noted ahead of time, so was not an issue for us, but may be for others. the communication with the host was excellent and very timely
