âOur stay at the COVE was exceptional, and we were particularly impressed with the aesthetic of the Witchey room. The ambiance and design, featuring a Calduron table and beautiful vines, truly enhanced our experience. âWe loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel.
Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.
There were only a couple drawbacks (which would NOT keep me from recommending the experience):

âThe Cabot Lodge is a quaint, adorable, wonderful place to stay! The room itself is tiny but the bathroom is spacious. The room has everything you need, including a sound machine! There are complimentary snacks and coffee, and the bed is very comfortable. The town itself is historic and has some very cool shops. Would absolutely stay here again!â
âTravelled with my parents to take a quick trip to Salem. Loved that there was shopping right next door, also choice of restaurants nearby.
They werenât thrilled with the breakfast options, as they are used to more of a continental buffet style, but it met our needs for our first day and we found the Friendly Toast nearby, which was a fun retro breakfast-brunch place.
It was clean, had fluffy towels, but hard to rate staff, as we hardly saw any. (They only clean after 3 nights) fine for us,...
