“Check in was super easy. The host messaged me the code for the door lock on our day of check in and no issues. The room is above a steakhouse in an older, Victorian style home. The room has everything you need. A bed, a smart tv, a toilet and a shower. The room was clean when we arrived and the shower had different shampoos and soaps in it. “Everyone loved our stay. The hot tub was even better than expected with the unexpected freezing temp and snow in April. House was clean and lake views were awesome. Plenty of space for families to spread out. We really enjoyed coming back to the warm and inviting space after our time at Legoland.”

“Really enjoyed our stay at this comfy cottage. Easily slept a family of 3 with plenty of room to lounge around. It's an older cottage, but the owner has added a lot of neat touches that make this a nice place to stay in this area.”

“Secluded, quiet idyllic area, ample space for sleeping/bedrooms available, we were 10 people, clean, game room, small-ish kitchen but fully functional, bathrooms great, hot tub great, pool closed, I loved that there is a playground for kids but we were all adults, restaurants and groceries within 10-15 minute drive, we stayed for a Spartan race at Mt. Vernon only 12 minutes away, would definitely request a stay again!”

We had a few mishaps, including accidentally locking ourselves out late at night, and the host was incredibly kind and flexible, assisting us promptly each time. “Everything was fine. We left the machine running in the living room because we didn’t know what that was. We weren’t ready for all of the mosquitos but other than that it was wonderful. Thank you. ”

“Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....

“Such a magical property! I came here with some friends for my birthday weekend and we had the most incredible time. The space- both indoors and out, is even more beautiful than the pictures (which never happens!). Everything was very clean and well kept. And the property manager was very supportive and communicative throughout. Providing lots of helpful information beforehand, and stayed in touch during my stay, even over the smallest things.
