“When you get to the bed and breakfast you are greeted by the nicest gentleman Eric. Very accommodating and he will give you a historical tour of the property. The main house is simply beautiful with original fixtures and antique furnishings. Then he will show you to the cottage straight out of the late 1800’s with some added modern day conveniences. They loved having a place to go run around while traveling instead of just walking at a hotel. Couldn't decide which bedroom to use , they were both so attractive. “We were so impressed with this lodging. It had four powerful a/c units (extremely important in Southeast TX during the summer,) the beds were comfy, and it was well laid out to host people in a small space. It didn't feel all that small. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the front porch watching the lake in the morning. Thank you for sharing!”

“Great vacation with lots to do. The rental was very clean and stocked with many of the necessities needed. No need to bring hairdryer, shampoo/conditiner, toilet paper, paper towels they had it all. My hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. A few miles down the road is a Wal Mart, coffee shop and liquor store. We enjoyed fishing, paddle boarding, sunning on the lily pad, boat riding and more. Wonderful vacation experience! Hope to go back next summer. ”
