“Our stay was truly exceptional,with a fantastic location, impeccable attention to detail, and a genuinely warm welcome. I do have one suggestion: considering adding Rubens Mexican to your recommened dining options, as it is a Hilo institution since1979. We actually made a special trip to Hilo to bring back a large order, and I highly recommend it to future guest. Mahalo for hosting us and we will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place.”

“I enjoyed this place a lot. Smooth check in and check out. The parking lot was the best part due to all the beautiful peacock birds roaming around. It was nice staying on the west side of the mountain. Renting a car is a definitely must to stay here as I was gone most of the time exploring the island. Carpet could get replaced to make the apartment nicer but I enjoyed my stay. Had all the amenities needed.”

“As described: secluded, a much- needed respite; chocolates helped! Coqui’s night calls make me sleep though some might need ear plugs. I spent most evenings under the lanai’s bugless tent (green geckos were allowed:-) and beautiful silver pheqsant(!), Bed, couch, HAMMOCK, shower are big plusses. FYI: a short drive from Hilo past 8am is clear; 3:30 onward competes with schoolbus traffic.
