Quiraing Cabin is a luxury self-catering cabin in north Skye. Designed as a nature-lover's retreat, it's the place to stay if you love wildlife, adventure and relaxation! Panoramic views from the cabin's huge windows, and the covered deck make the perfect indoor-outdoor space. Located just 20 minutes from the main town Portree - between the iconic Quiraing mountain and the sea - Quiraing Cabin is the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye.

We came for the views and stayed for the weather… which tried to personally introduce itself every five minutes. This house quickly became our safe haven from sideways rain, midges with ambition, and roads that politely pretend to be two lanes. The kitchen saw heroic efforts (and a few questionable meals), while the windows delivered postcard views on demand. If these walls could talk, they’d mention laughter, muddy boots, and at least one moment of “is that a sheep or a rock?” To the next guests—lean into the adventure, trust the kettle, and never underestimate how fast Skye can steal your heart.

This was a perfect jump off place for exploring the Isle of Skye. Everything we needed was available in the cabin, including binoculars for observing the wildlife on the mountain side. We were blessed to have a beautiful clear night for star gazing- which for us was the highlight of our stay! Thank you both for the memories of a lifetime. Highly recommend staying here, and would gladly stay here again!

Cozy cabin with a stunning view. This was the perfect escape and we loved waking up to the beautiful views everyday. It is close to the Quiraing and Storr hikes, as well as kilt rock lookout. The lock on the door was a little hard to work and I think could be fixed/replaced, but otherwise the stay was perfect. Overall, would highly recommend this for a stay and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location to hike the Quiraing and An Storr. Just 30 minutes drive from Portree if you crave an evening out but the kitchen was an excellent plus to make breakfast before heading out.

2 day stay - loved it!

The property was very clean, and the hosts provided us with plenty of cookware to make meals plus an extensive book on local sightseeing, walks, and places to eat! Modern interior, very warm and cosy, and the bathroom/shower was very comfortable (no problems with hot water!). Lively views from the large windows and curtains to cover up the windows at night. Waking up to views of the hills was really special. Thanks very much!

Sheep and mountains

This cabin worked out well for our plans on the island. It's a great location for getting an early start on the best hikes. It was very comfortable and had a great view of the mountains. Although it's near the owners house, it is positioned to have a nice amount of privacy. Elizabeth was quick to respond to any questions we had and very helpful. We enjoyed some of the items in our welcome basket that she prepared as well. The only disadvantage of staying up in Staffin is that food options are limited so you'll need to plan your meals well while you are near Portree. We would gladly stay here again.

Komfortabel und ruhig

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit 6 Übernachtungen sehr genossen. Das Häuschen ist klein aber fein und gut ausgestattet. Alles sehr sauber. Die Umgebung ist grandios. Vom Bett aus ist ein wunderbarer Blick auf das Bergpanorama. Vor dem Fenster grasen friedlich die Schafe. Nur 10 Minuten Fußweg zum Strand. Die Gastgeber sehr diskret,. Absolut empfehlenswert für Naturliebhaber!
