The hotel has a chill vibe. We liked the smaller size, decor, free bikes and location. The ocean was to rough to swim in in front of the hotel, but that wasn't a big deal as we were out most days doing other things. The staff was great. We also liked the singers that played every night.

Brittany, Deo (sp?) night manager. The fun activities throughout the day, the bikes that we took for a bike ride was a lot of fun. Kaua'i Palms Hotel
Hotel was an older property, in a quiet part of Lihue. Room was in reasonable condition, the room was clean but showed some of the age of the property but don't think that is an easy fix and was part of the charm. Aston Islander on the Beach
Great location, wonderful garden, large room, aversge standard. No breskfast is a drawback, but a nice marketplace with some good restaurants right behind makes up a bit.
