“We travel a lot - really a lot, but don't write so many reviews because we are often just really satisfied with our stay. But this time we're just forced to do it, because it far surpasses any other hotel we've visited anywhere.
We visited TheDamai quite a few years ago and loved it, and now that we visited Bali again we were a bit doubtful whether we should visit it again, because the price seemed a bit low and we were afraid that the quality had deteriorated since the last time - but it...

“I had a beautiful one hour full body massage from the therapist. She uses oils that are produced by the owner. My wife and I enjoyed two glorious days at the retreat. The rooms and verandahs are astounding with particular care given to the quality of the building and its surrounds. All our meals were served by experienced friendly staff and nothing could be faulted. We could truthfully say that no one would be disappointed with this lovely place. We were truly sad to leave.”

“Wonderful little gem of a place. Tucked away in a secluded part of the beach making it the perfect little get away. Staff is wonderful and beyond helpful. The room is lovely and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and made to order. The only thing I had an issue with was that the beach towels were very worn and even had holes in them. But the place was lovely, we did the dolphin swing which they set up and the guide came right onto the beach to pick us up. It was wonderful. Would definitely go...

“So we arrived at Puri Bali which is situated perfectly near to the water and in a calm street.
The people working there are very kind and very helpful.
The rooms are not so new and not so well looking. But they do what you want - give you a place to sleep. The pool is nice however the tiles are loose a lot of places which makes it a bit dangerous.
The breakfast was good and fast.
We had a great time there though.”

“Stayed a few days here during rainy season, to see the dolphins. The standard of the room and hotel in general was super great relative to the small cost. In Europe I could expect to pay 5-10 times more for the same standard and service.
The staff is also in a happy good mood and very friendly and service minded :)
I have also stayed on a few other places in Bali, and recently Cambodia as well. Hotel Shri Ganesh is in the top value for money. Highly recommended! ”
