“This property is what I would call quirky due to its age. There are steps down from the kitchenette into the lounge and steps from the lounge into the downstairs bathroom. I found the property to be clean and comfortable. Generally street parking worked ok but it’s a long walk to the seafront. ”

“Why oh why did I not book this cottage for longer. This has been one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Beautiful surrounds, just a perfect house, great inclusions, it deserves more than 5 stars. We will be back!”

“The lodgings are in fact an appartement not whole house as advertised. Not is it 3 minutes from the beach unless you have a car. It has not been modernised but is spacious and inexpensive. ”

“Fantastic cottage at the gateway to the Isle of Purbeck, just what we were looking for. The cottage and facilities were as described and even exceeded our high expectations. The check in via the key safe was simple and efficient and the standard of the kitchen equipment was very high indeed. Many comments in the guest book mentioned repeat visits and we can see why. “The best definition of value I have ever heard is “the difference between you you thought you were getting and what you got” this sadly was a very wide gap. It is not a destination venue but more of some where to dump your belongings and go out. It wouldn’t take much. I was advised when I arrived that it’s gets chilly down stairs… no it is freezing cold. The radiator isn’t big enough and the electric heaters just do not warm up the place. Blackout curtains across the doors would help. The...

“Review of The Aspens I recently stayed at The Aspens and was very impressed. The property was clean, well-equipped, and presentable. Its excellent location near the beach made it perfect for a seaside getaway, and there was easy access to amenities like shops and restaurants. Additionally, the free parking was a great bonus! I highly recommend this place for a hassle-free stay.”

“We had a truly lovely stay at the cottage. it was so peaceful and welcoming, with everything we needed for a relaxing break, with some wonderful walks right on your doorstep.As for an added bonus in the garden at the rear of the property there is a sunhouse with all the tables, sun loungers, Chairs even games to keep the children amused.I would surely stay here again if and when we are down this way. ”
