âGreat location for a visit to family. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. My room was small, but really just right for a visit, good storage and lighting. Very close to the railroad tracks, but I never heard a thing. The restaurant was opening the day after I left so I canât comment but I did see the space and itâs just beautiful. The restaurant still managed to serve breakfast and that worked out just fine. I strongly recommend Voco Astoria. â

âWe arrived the very last minute before closing time, due to a two hour delayed flight. The receptionist were not pleased at all. Luckily another guest opnened the entrence for us so we got in. We had to sleep five people in two beds because the pull out chair wasn't made. We were still happy we didn't have to try to find something else in the middle of the night after 22 hours of travel.â
âI read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. â

"Good place to stay for some period of time. Stayed in 14-bed room, but didn't have any inconveniences. The beds have curtains, so it's comfortable to sleep. Make sure you have sleeping mask and earplugs. Bathrooms are warm and clean. The staff is very friendly. There are also a lot of activities to socialize, if you want. Unfortunately didn't have time to participate. The location is good enough, near the 103rd station "1" trains. The area is also walkable."
