“We stayed in a restored room, making everything clean fresh and new. This spot is perfect for a traveler looking for no frills and a clean place to rest. Location across the street from the beach was amazing.”

“The parking was a major problem as there wasn't enough for when all of the rooms were booked. You'd get blocked in by other vehicles! The breakfast wasn't ready when the host said it would be and there wasn't enough seating for two sets of guests to be eating at the same time. We ended up leaving and went to a quaint coffee shop for breakfast instead even though our room rate was to include breakfast for the three of us. Wouldn't go back again nor recommend.”

“A Staff was nice and friendly. My complain is there was only 1 paper cup in the room, and only decaf coffee there. I would be ok if there was no coffee...”

“We recently stayed for a weekend boating/birthday trip. We loved this place. Close to everything. Pub downstairs, liquor store downstairs, and breakfast cafe downstairs as well. The staff was great and our room #18 had an awesome patio. The whole place was renovated it seemed and the beds were great as well as the pillows. The ac in the rooms worked great as well. I’ll definitely be going back”

“The woman at the front desk could not have been more helpful and sweet. I asked directions to the ferry in Victoria and, not only did she give me directions, she looked them up online and printed them out for me. Lovely.”

“Easy, seamless check-in and the room was clean and modern. We stayed in Unit 2, which does lack windows, so it could feel a little enclosed and got quite steamy when showering. Otherwise, it was a great spot for a quick two-night stay in Cowichan!”

“While the front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, the building definitely needs a welcoming update. Also for those with mobility issues, this is not an ideal choice as there is no elevator and there are stairs to get to some of the rooms on the first level. The washroom shower stall is small with no handles or shower mats. If you require a chair in the shower, bring your own or choose another hotel (Crown House B&B is accessible upon request). Ice machine available but no vending machines...

“Such a charming bed and breakfast! Gorgeous view of the ocean and the property was in a well kept neighbourhood. The host was absolutely warm and welcoming. Made my boyfriend and I feel at home. We stayed one night , so it was a brief, but pleasant stay. Breakfast was so good! Will come back in the future for sure.”

“This was an absolute beautiful little place. I highly recommend it. The Hosts are super friendly and welcoming. The place has an amazing view and the best place to wake up and have your morning coffee or watch the start at night. Right next to Mill bay Centre which has everything you need. The place is very clean and has all the essential that we needed. I will definitely stay there again. 5 star!”
