“Beautiful resort and the staff was fantastic. I would have given it 5 stars but the rooms could use some attention. Things like our bathroom door was broken, the toilet is loose and rocks and some of the electric outlets in the lamps did not work. Another item is the recirculation line for the hot water system did not work. We probably wasted 3 gallons of water each time waiting for the water to get hot. Other than those items our stay was great and we would recomend to anyone.”

“Oaks on the River couldn't be more different from the chain hotels and mostly in good ways. The physical layout of rooms set in multiple buildings including two 200-year old mansions is the most obvious. Our king size bedroom felt very king-size. We arrived late in the rain and found our room with A MAP. Dining room was filled but the room service option was there. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and well worth its $25 charge, The grounds and dining areas in the mansions were striking. We...
