Awesome time at Olde Beau
Beautiful cottage with magnificent views. Cottage was very spacious and clean. The quiet neighborhood was great for relaxing. Communication was excellent. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Beautiful view from deck
Property was clean and well appointed. Everything you need for a week's stay. We ate in most nights, since it is a fairly long drive to restaurants. There are lots of parks in the area which we visited. Very pretty scenery along the way. My wife and I are in our 80's, and I have some mobility issues, so it was challenging to navigate the steps from the driveway to the entry sidewalk, since there is no handrail on those steps. Overall, I would recommend this property, which is quite and safe in a gated community.

Cottage on the Greens
Olde Beau Cottage was very nicely decorated, gave a home-like feeling from the time you walk in. The beds are very comfortable, you have everything you need in the kitchen, and a beautiful big deck for gathering! Thank You to Bryan, our host, for being available and providing updates as needed. We had a very lovely stay and look forward to our return.

Awesome Golf Getaway!
Amazing views and so close to the Old Beau clubhouse. Communication with property owner was great and answered all our questions thru out our stay. If you are wanting a fantastic golf trip, this is the place to stay! We will be back!!!

Bryan the owner was so easy to deal with during the stay. The residence was very clean and had everything that you would need for a weekend get away. The house was beautiful and the views from the back deck are truly breathtaking. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a weekend recharging.

Writing retreat
We are working on a book and needed a weekend push to focus on getting done. As 3 unrelated adults, we really liked each of us getting an en-suite bathroom. There were two areas in the house to work and collaborate - a living room upstairs and a den downstairs. The internet worked great. The views were nice - can't speak for amenities or activities nearby as we were staying in to get work done. The host made check-in easy and answered questions quickly as they came up.

Family Christmas in the Mountains
This was the perfect spot in the mountains for our family to gather for Christmas, we made so many memories! To our surprise the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which was an added bonus! There was plenty of room for all of us, yet still gave you a “cabin cozy” feel! The kitchen was well appointed, we had everything we needed and more! The views from the deck were spectacular. I would recommend this spot to anyone as I look forward to visiting again!

Amazing view!
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage, the neighborhood and the view. The cottage was well appointed, was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was super scenic and the view from the deck - outstanding! We were fortunate to be there when the fall leaves are at their peak AND the moon was full. Gorgeous!

Lovely Cottage, Great View
Lovely, clean cottage, awesome view into Mitchell’s River gorge from the large deck. We had a maintenance issue that was fixed within 30 minutes by a friendly, capable and responsible maintenance man. No complaints. Very nice property in a nice development. Owner was very accommodating.

Beautiful view and deck in a great location
We had a wonderful time at the cottage, enjoying the spacious deck and gorgeous view. The cottage was cozy and the layout worked well for our family - plenty of space to cook, eat together and play games. The location on the golf course was convenient and private and we enjoyed getting to use the clubhouse pool. It was a great family trip!

Spacious and Amazing Views!
The Olde Beau Cottage truly does have magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains ~ we loved the deck and bird watching while having our morning coffee! Very spacious home with great bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was well appointed! We did try to have dinner one night in the club house and were not greeted with positive hospitality and were treated as if we might not belong ~ that vibe caused us to leave before being seated. Overall, we would definitely stay here again for our annual Winery Tour which is why we come to Yadkin Valley!

Beautiful setting
This was a lovely private home with plenty of space. Lots of amenities. Nice club pool just freezing. If going in winter there is an inside pool and hot tub. The owner and the property manager both very responsive. The back deck was quiet and had gorgeous views. If we had brought the kids would have had plenty of space just not a ton for them to do as they aren’t interested in hiking etc. We enjoyed Ashe cheese company and the surrounding town which was about an hour away and while there were multiple wineries we chose Stony Knoll and Grassy Creek which were both awesome with wonderful informative owners. Basically perfect for a getaway for myself and my husband away from hectic lives for a week.

Can we just live here forever??
Brian’s cottage was THE perfect find for everything we had hoped to do on our long weekend escape to the mountains. As soon as we entered and had a look around we knew we had picked the right place! The house exceeded expectations on cleanliness and amenities. The living area opens to a nice sized deck with plenty of comfy seating. You’ll see some of the most beautiful night skies and sunrises overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. There’s also a nice shaded patio on the lower level with lounge chairs for the warmer days. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. I would suggest bringing extra rolls of paper products for kitchen and bath. Even though we only used the upstairs bedrooms, it was very nice having the extra living area and bedroom downstairs. This would’ve been the perfect place for a 3rd couple or extended family. The only areas for improvement would be the need for towel hooks in the 2 smaller bathrooms as we had nowhere to hang our towels; and an accessible closet for clothes in the smaller upstairs bedroom (it was locked so we couldn’t use it). There were a variety of dining options and grocery stores within 15-30 mins of us in the towns of Elkin and Sparta. If you enjoy seafood, you have to try Pirates Landing in Elkin. They have a variety of food in an entertaining atmosphere. We were even visited by a pirate and his wench doing magic tricks while we were eating :) Some of the highlights from our stay - Golfing at Olde Beau - Our husbands were impressed with the course and the amazing views. There’s an interesting history of the course and how it got its name. Enjoying the on-site amenities - There are 3 pickleball courts, an indoor and outdoor pool and a small playground. We had the pickleball courts to ourselves for the few hours that we played. Lunch at the clubhouse grill - It was delicious. We ate on the patio overlooking the golf course. I recommend the burger and fries! Hiking to the vista overlooking the gorge - The trails range from easy to strenuous. We did 3.5 miles of the 5 mile loop that circles the community. The views were worth the climb! It’s a quick drive to Stone Mountain for more hiking opportunities and beautiful waterfalls. There are also a ton of wineries in the area. Roaring River, Jones von Drehle and Elkin Creek are my favorites! We had the most memorable trip and would definitely stay here again!!

This was one of the nicest homes we have rented. It was everything it was listed as and more. The views were beautiful, home was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was great and well equipped for cooking! So nice. Love that they provide towels and bedding! We had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was the sweetest! Very easy to get in touch with. The resort area is so beautiful, quiet and calm and everyone was so friendly. Our kids LOVED it!

Perfect Mountain Getaway
I rented this cottage for a family reunion. The amenities, the size and location were perfect. The mountain views from the deck were gorgeous. It was 4th of July weekend and the fireworks going off from different locations could be seen perfectly.! Would rent this again.

It was a special time with grandsons. The property was as described. We did have a really bad situation with ants in kitchen and bathroom. The place was very clean so I’m not sure why. My point in mentioning this is to speak to the quick response of the property manager. He sent exterminator ASAP. It didn’t not solve the problem but he tried. We were only there for 3 nights.

Jane, We are so glad that you had a special time with your grandsons as families are so important!!! We do apologize for the situation with the ants you reference. As soon as you brought this to our attention we did get an exterminator out and have had the home checked multiple times since without any evidence of additional ants. Again thanks for staying and we hope you will come back and give us a try again!!!

Wonderful property; highly recommend
I’m very picky about houses we stay at and this house was great. We had a wonderful stay with our two kids ages 4 and 1. The views were amazing off the deck which we thoroughly enjoyed. The kids raced around and were safe with it being gated and the stars at night filled the sky. The house was just as described with plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. Even starter dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper which we were not expecting. Tons of amazing hiking trails a short distance from the house plus plenty of hiking inside of the community. The indoor pool was nice and quiet. We would highly recommend this property and will be back again. My only recommendation is if you have young kids bring a baby gate to block off the stairs that go to lower level. Otherwise house was stocked with everything you may need.

Wonderful weekend getaway!
My husband and I and two other couples spent a weekend at this property. It was just as advertised! The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Each couple had their own bed and bath and we were all comfortable. The table was large enough for all of us to eat comfortably and play games. Views from the decks were amazing! If the colors had been changing, it would have been even better. We plan on enjoying this property again. The only negative we had is that the towels in each bathroom did not reflect the quality of the rest of the property. The towels were very thin, and just looked very well used. And the bedroom downstairs only had one set of towels.

Beautiful location!
We had a very nice day, love how the house is laid out. Perfect for a couple's and even if you have teenagers or children. The view on the back deck is priceless. It's a very quiet area very nice lots of trails. Super close to Stone Mountain. Went to Sparta and Elkin.

Great Girls Weekend!
The property was beautiful and the view was unmatched! The stars at night were unbelievable. We had a great girls weekend. The only feedback I have is that there were only like 3 towels, which was difficult with 3 women since we also went to the pool. There was also no cutting board in the kitchen and shampoo and conditioner and coffee would have been nice. I would definitely stay here again!
