“The owners did masterful work restoring this home yet paid so much attention in providing up-to-date amenities that people have come to expect. Every convenience was thought of and there were wonderful treats and surprises at every turn. I particularly enjoyed their love of the Hudson River School and all of the lovely artwork represented from room to room. Local history is honored in the house and their knowledge of it is vast. ”

“This unique property was awesome. The Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room and private bathroom were luxurious and provided a quiet and extravagant comfort without being pretentious. The extra amenities such as makeup washcloths, a glass container with full-size cotton balls and Q-tips were an added perk (after driving through a snow squalls- was much needed).”

“Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money ”

“I meant to review this months ago, but time got away from me. The Tin Brook was absolutely perfect for our Mother's Day trip to the Catskills--and we weren't even supposed to be there, because it was actually closed. We had our pick of rooms and chose the top of the house, which was more than enough space for the three of us. “Comfortable apartment with a phenomenal view! The space could use a deep clean and some decluttering, but that view!!! Did I mention that the view was A-mazing?!?”

“This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.”

“Family trip with teens and grandma. Beautiful home but unprepared for the gnats outside. Quiet location. Peaceful to sit outside around the fire pit. Kelly quickly responded to all questions and concerns. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table and grandma enjoyed the sunsets. Thank you for a great getaway!”
