âThis gem of a little hotel is a best kept secret in Tokyo. Convenient to subways and a nice area with many restaurants. The rooms are large and comfortable. It has a separate library and a laundry room so you can freshen your clothes without spending a fortune. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We have stayed here twice now and will stay again on our next trip. â

It was extremely easy to get around in Tokyo from here as there are so many metro stations around. I am tall and was worried from the previous reviews..but the size of the bathroom and everything is just like any other normal hotel in Japan. â
âIt was a smaller room, but it worked for a night. The hotel is a very short walk from Ueno Station, great if coming in from Narita. It is also close to Okachimachi station. A few minutes walk to Ueno Ameyoko Shopping Street. I would probably book this place again, because of the location and price.â

"Hotel Niwa is probably the best hotel I lived in. The room was cosy and well planed. There were two different kinds of pillows so you could choose the one who fitted you most. There were three types of gardens you could sit and relax in, very green and lovely. There were washing machines and vending machines on two floors. The staff was very professional yet familiar. I miss this place. "
