Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), also known as Roissy Airport or just Roissy, is one of the busiest and most important airports in the world. It is named after Charles de Gaulle, the former French president who led the Free French Forces during the Second World War before establishing the French Fifth Republic, the constitution under which France operates today.
Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport was originally known as Aéroport de Paris Nord (Paris North Airport), but it was re-opened as Paris-Charles de Gaulle in March 1974 after eight years of reconstruction. At that time it was one of the most stunning and modern airports in the world.

“We were in Paris for the first time visiting before the Olympics. We traveled in a large group consisting of 4 adults, 2 teens, and 2 children. The house is large, private, and comfortable. The bathrooms are upgraded and spacious. It has a washer and dryer which is a plus when staying for a longer time. The owner was very kind and even arranged a cab ride for us to the airport. The house is walking distance from a very cute downtown but more than a mile from the metro station. The only downside...
