“Great base to explore IOW (by car), nowhere is very far away.Enjoyed visiting Godshill, Shipwreck Centre, Carisbrooke Castle, Newtown Nature Reserve, Freshwater Bay (great waves!), Cowes, Sandown, Ventnor and Shanklin. Also climbed Bembridge Windmill and had lunch at St Helen's beach.Had a boiler breakdown on first morning so had no hot water for 4 days, happened on the Friday so difficult to find someone to repair it. “We used as a crew house so the fact the rooms can be set up as three twins was ideal. Some padding on the low ceiling over the stairs! Forgot to duck a couple of times.”

“Spacious house for 8 adults, enough cutlery and condiments to dine in. Loved the proximity to the sea and comfortable beds. Plenty to do in Sandown and the beach was lovely. The biggest shame for us was the privacy glass. We chose this house for the views as my mother had an operation and needed to rest while we had fun. She couldn’t see the sea at all unless she stood up-other properties in the same block had clear glass. There was everything you needed except oven gloves and a hand towel,...

“The cottage was very well-equipped, practical, well located and very comfortable beds. Everything worked and storage was great. Loved the nice bedding and towels! Nice that cleaning things and tea/coffee packets were there for arrival etc. We didn't miss anything we needed. Decor nice and lots of local information provided to help us plan and book trips out. The Island was lovely as ever loved Ventnor coastal hikes in both directions and really enjoyed the beaches at Bembridge and Appley! So...
