âWe had the most incredible honeymoon at Maria Del Mar! Our concierge Santiago helped us to create an amazing itinerary and adapted for us as we made changes! They also recommended a wonderful taxi driver, Armando, who graciously took us to each excursion and offered expert advice to help us enjoy as much as possible :) Edgar, Enrique, and Sergio at the front desk were always ready to chat and help if needed. âLoved the rustic look of the rooms with all the creature comforts included (AC, mini fridge, hot water, etc.). The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was great, both in the hotel and in nearby restaurants. There are convenience stores, pharmacies, ATMs and currency exchange offices within walking distance. We had a lovely stay, very unfortunate that the sargassum kept us from the beach, but that's not the hotel's fault.â

âWe had an incredible stay at Papaya Playa! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and accessible whenever we needed anything or had any questions and provided a lot of good recommendations to us. It was easy to be able to chat via WhatsAppâs with the front desk for questions and to arrange whatever we needed. The hotel was able to arrange scooter and bike rentals and the hotel is right at the start of the hotel zone so Tulum Road was very accessible.

The service fantastic, the food was delicious an the cocktails out of sight. the only thing that was a surprise is that when we wanted the outdoor pool was not always available. Of course the pool took about an 1.5 hours to get heated, but when we requested to have it turned on, we were never alerted that they would not end up doing it.
