“check in with the mandatory LATCH app was a nightmare. Finally got another guest/tenant to help. They said you must use the DOOR app. So after downloading the door app all worked ok. Every door in building is loc ked and will lock behind you. I was locked in the stairwell for 20 min till somebody finally heard me(this was all 1st day ) The place is as described-very nice. Great location and fair price. Extremely clean. BUT the locks!!!!!!!”

If, like me, you want a personal interaction with the person or couple that own the property - this is not it. They have applications for the rental, they require copies of the front and back of your DL and credit card. “Location is great. Close to the bus stop and the main Mountain view station. Love how spacious it is. Coin laundry is downstairs (looks like a communal laundry). Didn't use because it didn't look clean. Note that there is no AC (not an amenity but watch out if you book in the summer). Didn't leave enough toilet paper paper towels tissue paper for 1 week stay so we ended up going to Walmart (can take the FREE gray/red bus!). Thought the ceiling was leaking but it was the showerhead...

Among the positive features are the location (close to Castro street and El Camino Real), the property manager, the internet speed and the well equipped kitchen. However, the furniture in the living room and bathroom is outdated (the bed does not even have a headboard) and there is no parking in the property. It was challenging to park on the street, particularly during the holidays.”
