Nestled in the lower half of a duplex, our beach house is ideally located just a stone's throw away from the beach and boardwalk. You can enjoy the serene and gentle sounds of the ocean from the privacy of our home. With central air conditioning, you'll stay cool and comfortable even on the hottest days.

Our home is packed with amenities to make your stay truly memorable. You'll love our private outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a long day at the beach. And when it's time to relax, the ground-floor patio awaits with comfortable seating, a grill, and a fire pit - perfect for cozying up under the stars.

We can't wait to welcome you to our beach house and help you create unforgettable memories on your next vacation!

THINGS TO KNOW
-Guests must sign a separate e-sign agreement with important terms and conditions and ID and credit card verification is required to complete the booking process.
-Dog friendly: 1 dog , weighing 25 lbs or less, welcome in this home for a fee. Small to medium non-shedding breeds only. Must be kenneled when unsupervised. No other animals are allowed without specific Coast approval. Please contact Coast Vacation Homes to inquire.
-There is a locked partition door at the top of the staircase that leads into Beach Duplex 2. Please be mindful of your neighbors!
-Basic Beach gear provided (beach chairs, beach towels)
-San Diego Airport flight path runs over South Mission Bay. Airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am. The home is totally worth it!

ATTENTION
This home is located in a high-density neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. There is a no tolerance policy for excessive noise, occupancy, illegal substances, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please ensure you are comfortable with these terms before booking.

PARKING
There's a two-car tandem garage. The entry requires a very sharp reversing park angle. There is limited additional street parking or island parking lots a 4-5 block walk. Please be sure to follow all City posted signage if parking on the street.

Since it was pretty cloudy the whole time we were there, we did end up spending more time at the house than we planned. But it was so comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen so we were able to cook, and the fire pit and patio area were delightful! Just a short walk to the beach and lots of great restaurants and shops too!My one and only complaint, and it’s almost not even worth mentioning, is that the coasters were weird. They were cute and matched the decor, but any time you put a glass on one, the condensation collects on the coaster and then rolls off on to the table, thus defeating the purpose of using a coaster. But all in all, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend! We’re even thinking of coming back next year!

This VRBO was probably the cleanest unit we have stayed in. Great location steps from the beach. We enjoyed the courtyard everyday. Good location as well. Walking distance to coffee shops and short drive/Uber to all the bars and restaurants. Short 15 minute walk to pretty much anything.

Pros:Easy to locate, the instructions were very clear, it was clean, had everything we needed plus some, even had a cabinet full of games. Close proximity to the beach. Cons: the ad led me to believe it was a beach front property but it's not. But the walk to the beach is very short, straight and easyThe walls are not sound period. Our neighbors were very loud and stayed up pretty late. So they kept us up with their noise and partying. Lastly,, it didnt come wit access to the rooftop.i wish we had acces to thatOther than all that, we enjoyed our stay there.

Great stay. Very convenient to beach. Garage parking a huge plus in the area. The only drawback is it is the lower half of the duplex and sound insulation between the units is minimal. There is a high traffic area at least while we were there above the master bedroom. But we didn’t stay inside that much and quiet hours were respected.

Wonderful home steps from the beach (and a very short walk to the bay), also within easy walking distance to some cafes, restaurants, and shops. Perfect for our small family reunion.The hosts were super prompt and communicative with any questions. The home guide was really informative, making for an easy check-in/check-out process and stay.As the listing notes, the garage is very narrow, and there is an upstairs unit (so you can hear some noise from other tenants).

Great little house close to the boardwalk. It was comfortable for my husband, two kids and mother in law to stay! Super close to Sea World and an easy drive to anywhere else in the city. Parking in the garage was a bit of a challenge because of the narrow reverse parking from the alley, but I had already known that from reading other reviews. Overall a great place to stay in San Diego.

The property has a great location with its proximity to the ocean and the boardwalk. It is surrounded by similar homes/condos, so the area was quiet and out of the Mission Beach, party-hearty area, which is exactly what we desired. Even though it was too chilly to fully enjoy the pretty patio, we enjoyed it being there. Two things should be noted: there are 2.5 sets of wooden stairs going to the bedrooms. This was not an issue for us, but was less than clear (what was where) in the ad. (i.e., the porch, living room and kitchen are on the ground floor, the master br was 2.5 stories above that, and bedrooms 2-3 were on the second floor. Our dog has a shoulder injury so we tried to carry her up and down and finally gave-up in the end. And as mentioned by several reviewers, the garage--accessed off the alley behind the condo--is long (accommodating two small suvs!) but very skinny. To get into it, one has to turn in carefully at a very steep angle, back up, straighten out, do it again, etc. etc.. Thank goodness our son-in-law has the skills of a professional valet and served as car parker for our group! And finally, the Coast property manager group was perhaps the most helpful and responsive of any we have worked with over the years. Highest kudos to them!

We really enjoyed staying at this home. Updated and clean, bright and airy. Kitchen well stocked with dishes. Rooms were nice sizes and comfortable. Plenty of room in the garage for bikes and storage but not for a large truck or SUV. Midsize suv or car fits nicely. The filtered water faucet at the sink was nice. The only complaint was the amount of flies on the patio. Bring some sort of fly tape or trap. Also maybe a screen door would help to keep the door open, otherwise fly city inside. Turning the fire pit on helped. The outdoor furniture could use an update as it’s pretty worn. The best part is that we were able to bring our pups! All in all we would definitely stay here again!

The location is amazing for this Kennebeck property. Fully remodeled, this property has it all including an excellent management company. As soon as a problem arose the management team sprang into action and delivered. I could not have had a better time enjoying this property. One side note is that you can hear footsteps of those in the adjoining property.Luckily there was respect for late hours! And the patio, umbrella and all simply delightful! Will book again!

Everything was great! Kids loved the closeness to the beach and everyone slept so so good! Unfortunately there were a few small ants 🐜 crawling around our bedroom floor and communal area - which may be a product of the beach. A few more towels might be nice as well. Everything else was very nice!

Our family had a great stay! This property is well maintained and the communication with the property manager was excellent. Its central location allowed us to easily visit all the hot spots including La Jolla, Legoland, and the Zoo while being able to enjoy the beach on a daily basis.
