Mike's Place at the Beach

  • Experience the charm of funky Mission Beach in this beachside lower-level triplex, just steps from the sand and boardwalk. Perfect for families, this vacation rental features 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 queens) and 1 full bathroom with a tub, along with a full kitchen, 42” TV, and a shared outdoor patio with BBQ seating. Beach gear is provided, 2 chairs, beach towels, and umbrella. The guests also have access to a coin-operated washer/dryer and a 1-car garage (fits a midsize SUV 8 x19 x7.8). Ideally located for exploring San Diego, you're just a short drive from Belmont Park, Balboa Park, La Jolla Village, and the San Diego Zoo. Check-in is 4 pm, and check-out is 10 am. Quiet hours are 10 pm–7 am. No pets, no smoking, and all guests must follow the good neighbor policy.
    Vacation Rental Contract
    You are booking with Casago San Diego, a professional local property management company. We require guests to complete our own “Vacation Rental Agreement” after they've made their booking. We do this to ensure quality and consistency for our guests and our homeowners.

Absolutely loved our stay and loved the place.. great location.. steps from the boardwalk.. 93 to the beach, I counted! Garage is on the smaller side.. found parking about 20 minute bike ride, roughly 200 for the 10 days.. but everything else was amazing!!! Food and entertainment within walking distance.. definately plan on staying there again!

Great location for the property. Parking was a bit difficult, as mentioned by others. Overall was as advertised, just be careful with the parking and take your time. I live in a big city and used to parking in tight spaces, this was still a challenge with a larger car.

Great location. Right in the heart of Mission Beach. Having the garage was a great benefit, opposed to hunting for parking. Rooms were large and comfortable. Patio area was huge for enjoying the morning sun, before heading out for the day. This is a "triplex", and the only concerned I shared was the noise from the upstairs neighbors.

Great location, almost beachfront, and super close to Belmont. Garage is very tight so if you have a larger car/SUV you will have difficulty parking it due to the narrow alleyway. The house was super clean, roomy, and as described. Several issues with door lock/fans/lights, loud neighbors, etc, but the management company tended to my needs and helped out instantly with great customer service. They were kind and attentive in order to make my stay worthwhile.

Parking was a little rough with all the trashcans and the small garage but we made it. House was nice. Walk too the beach was excellent. My host was top notch.

The location was fantastic! Close proximity to the beach, local shops and restaurants. The kitchen and living room were nice, however the bedrooms lacked comfortable beds. They have also recently renovated the bathroom, to remove the bathtub, while the shower is beautiful, it is a bit inconvenient with a toddler.

The Perfect Location

My girlfriends and I had a blast at Mission Beach! The location of this house was absolutely perfect and so convenient to food, activities and most importantly, the beach! Will definitely visit again and stay here.

Host was very welcoming. Loved the location. Parking garage was very small and hard to access with a bigger vehicle. We could hear guests on the 2nd floor a lot. Must not be much insulation.

Great Spot For Access to the Ocean and for the San Diego Crew Classic Weekend

A great spot that was affordable for my friends and me. The beds were comfy, the linens were fresh, and the place was clean when we got in. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend at the ocean.

Adorable beach house!

This beach house is absolutely adorable and location is excellent. There were 4 adults and 2 small children in our group and we had plenty of space. Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay!

The location is great! We had a lot of fun at our girls weekend! I agree with prior reviews that the utensils/cups/plates/etc were limited, but we survived! Overall had a great stay, thank you!

Such a fun property, had everything we needed. Steps to the beach, boardwalk. Amusement Park. Locals we friendly and very helpful.
