“We stayed for 4 nights. North Coast Village is spectacular. The grounds are a tropical paradise with great amenities, including pools, hot tubs, pool table, putting green, and parking garage. The beautiful cottage where we stayed also had boogie boards, skim boards, an umbrella, 4 beach chairs, beach towels, and a completely stocked kitchen. We plan on going back to stay there again ASAP. ”

“Cute walk up, as described and pictured. Great neighborhood close to beach and walking distance to town. Nicely furnished, light and airy, clean and comfortable. Only issue if I’m being picky is the windows, which are hard to operate and don’t stay open or closed very well. Despite them, I would definitely rent again.”

“The cottage is nicely appointed, and we liked having a parking spot and laundry facilities. Very clean, very quiet. Nice outdoor area for relaxing and space for an 18 month old to play. Janet and Scott were immediately available by phone to help with a minor electrical issue. There were toys and a high chair we used, and a pack & play, which we did not. Roomy closets in both bedrooms, comfortable beds. Would love to stay here again.”

“The house was fantastic, very cozy, comfortable, big and lots of light. The location and neighborhood was close to the beach and needed stores, and felt super safe and friendly. The beach vibe was so fun, we loved it! The only small confusion was with check in and check out. There were no instructions and we had to do trial and error with door locks and property access, etc. Would suggest a welcome manual.”

“I have been going to Carlsbad for 15 plus years. This place was the BEST place we have ever stayed at hands down. The owner is on top of everything and the location and amazing courtyard put it over the top. You would be stupid not to select this place for your vacation. ”

“Cottage is cozy and bed comfortable. Floor gritty from sand when arrived. Swept many times before went to beach ourselves but always felt gritty so we were tracking from outside into courtyard area. Has faint musty smell when entering in kitchen. Nothing unbearable and being close to water it is a common issue. Could use some updating but they did add microwave. I read some complaints about that. My only other suggestion would be a keurig but we brought our own mini. They have a coffee maker....

“This is a beautiful little beach cottage situated just 2 1/2 blocks from a lovely beach! It was easy to check in and the neighborhood was quiet with the exception of airplanes which we easily drown out by leaving the bathroom fan on! We visited the zoo, Balboa Park museums, Point Loma Tide Pools , Cabrillo National Monument, and of course, the beach! My only complaint is that our stay was too short!”
