San Gervasios katedral

The resort was exactly as described! The food was exquisite at every location. I went on this trip solo and had a fantastic time. Just a tip, make sure to make your reservations for dinner with your concierge the day you arrive to make the process easier. I did have an issue with checking out, but it did not impede on me getting to the airport.

I been here many many times and I have to say, it was not what it used to be. The beach is full of seaweed can’t even swim. The service at some point was not what we expected. I’m pretty disappointed. It appeared the staff was mad all the time. We ordered room service never got it.

Was a little hesitant to book as I am not a wellness / inward centred person...just wanted a luxe hotel on a gorgeous beach! At least in off season (mid Sept), I saw little evidence of this being a targetted wellness resort. There were classes held somewhere...I never saw them. Alcohol was offered on all menus (usually without prices but presumably not included in this all inclusive resort?) The food was truly amazing and healthy, saw a bit of seafood on menu, not too much red meat. Rooms and pools and the pool bar gorgeous design. I tried to go for a walk in the jungle but this doesnt seem to go anywhere...that would have been a nice feature but otherwise I cant really fault. Would stay again ...which is rare for me, I always like to try new places.
