San Gregorio Maggiore

Depois de uma viagem de quase 30 dias pela Itália, o Hotel Ascesi foi uma grata surpresa e um dos melhores de toda a viagem. Café da manhã espetacular, com a chefe preparando as melhores refeições a cada dia. O pessoal do hotel também era extremamente receptivo e gentil. O proprietário estava presente em alguns dias e nos mostrou toda a propriedade, inclusive uma Igreja existente em seu interior. Os quartos eram excelentes também. A vista é espetacular também. Enfim, um hotel para reservar sem nenhum receio e para passar bons momentos.

This does not feel like a 5 star hotel experience. There are good parts like the amazing central hotel and dinner experience but that's all. Negative parts: - Probably the worst 5 star breakfast I have ever tried, does not even qualify for 3-4 star because they are pretty stressed, rude, forget things (have to ask 3-4 times) and the selection is low quality poor stuff. The bread is the cheapest possible, the juice is filtered with water and not fresh, the eggs tasteless and bacon is burned. I can go on but will stop there. - The room although we had a Suite has no doors, hard bed to sleep on etc.
