The location & cleanliness of the home were great. Kitchen & bathrooms very outdated, cabinet doors broken etc. We were only there for a few days so we ate out, but found the kitchen left quite a bitto desire.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.Our rating is based on the above
It’s a cute house, but definitely needs some TLC.Cabinets don’t open easily and pulls need screws.Outside lights didn’t work. Not the most comfortable couch
Host was very responsive and answered all questions immediately.Location and price point great! Loved the sunset views from the lot. We were able to launch our kayaks and paddle behind The Ringling Museum. Location is close to St. Armonds Circle and downtown Sarasota too!

Good location and nice neighborhood. Close to everywhere we had planned to go. House needs updating. Most electrical outlets and light switches didn’t work. Bathrooms showers are not for people over 5 foot tall. The space under the kitchen sink needs to be cleaned. It was nasty. Living room furniture was comfortable. View of the water was beautiful.

This is a pleasant place to stay even though I would call it a “ bare bones” place. Minimal supplies in the kitchen — only 4 knives, forks and spoons, for instance. Cooking a meal might be a challenge. No amenities like coffee pods, shampoo etc which are very often in other rental places. Beds are OK but not great. No box springs. The place is obviously nothing more than a short term rental. We only stayed two nights so for that it was OK. Best thing about it is the location and the outdoor patio.

I reserved this home for my mom and Sis in Law who can to the area for my daughter's wedding. It was very close & convenient to the venue. The only issue we had was not receiving check-in instructions before arriving and being unable to get in to the house right away. After contacting the host, we received them and everything worked smoothly the rest of our stay. The sunset view from the house is spectacular! With some updates this place would be even better! They said would stay again if ever in the area!

Very quiet and safe neighborhood (very close to airport so planes were landing and taking off all the time) never bothered us. The host Julie i believe was Great! Very sweet. House does need some TLC but we were very comfortable there. I would love to go back and fix up a few things lol. I will definitely stay there again rho

The property was very cute and as described. My only issue was that the kitchen cabinets are basically falling apart. ( flooded before?). All other parts of the house were nice. Needs curtains in the back room. And the back areas and back bedroom were very hot

The house is so well decorated in mid-century modern decor and very charming. The location is wonderful. We sat on the back patio watching the sunset over the water while the bats flew overhead. It was just perfection! The host was incredibly responsive. The rules were clear for check-in and check-out. The house was clean and we had everything we needed for our quick weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable which is always a top priority for us. Would definitely stay here again!!

Sarasota Bay stay

The house is just as shown in the pictures. The addition of the outside table and chairs was perfect for our morning coffee and to watch the amazing sunset. The location is great for trips to one the local beaches or a bite to eat, without the craziness of the islands. All communication was quick and helpful. Thanks for a great week.Vicky

Nice quiet neighborhood. Only noise came from the airport thats in very close proximity. Close to great restaurants & stores. House was clean & spacious ( there were 3 adults staying). Gorgeous sunsets from the patio!

Retro and Relaxing

This house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. You can see the water from the house. The house is older and the showers were a little snug but I was comfortable. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. I loved this bed more than my bed at home. There are no tvs in the bedroom which didn’t bother us because we had our phones but it’s something I noticed. There are a lot of retro touches and it’s a really cute place to hang out. It was a clean, relaxing house and my mom and I had a great time. I would definitely come back.
