We hadn't been to Sayulita in 15 years! It has changed a lot but still the wonderful quaint town we loved back then. The condo was clean and in safe neighborhood, from what we could tell. We actually do cook when on vacation and I would suggest an overhaul of the pots and pans. The nonstick were so scratched.....and I don't mean to be picky but I have such a pet peeve about those....they are toxic too cook on as is, but when scratched even more so, and they never last! I wish more VRBOs would just invest in stainless steel that can take the overuse! other than that, all was good.
Overall it was quiet except the two nights a loud rager was taking place in a condo across the parking area. We believe it may have been a wedding party. We're talking live band followed by DJ until 2am. Even ear plugs couldn't drown it out because you could literally feel the music! I wish we weren't so tired from a long day, we would have just joined the fun. :-). So that was a definite bummer, bur that wasn't fault of this condo or Eric. It happens. The night we arrived, after returning from getting dinner, the door wouldn't open. The lock battery died. It was 9pm and I had to call Eric to let us in....... I felt so bad having to call him that late! He came right away and was there first thing in the AM fixing it. Eric was a great host, we wouldn't hesitate renting from him again! Looking forward to visiting Sayulita again in the near future! Maybe next time we will try a house right on the beach!
