The only word of caution is that there is a fairly steep concrete staircase that spirals up to the apartment - if you are not good on your feet it may be an issue.”

“Rowan Cottage is a super cute place to stay. It is nestled in the forest which would be a great place to explore if I brought my little ones. (Next time for sure). When we entered it was nice and toasty warm. The lounge and kitchen had everything we needed. The house directions/expectations were easily found. Loads of space and I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Thanks!!”

“House was nice and clean, stocked with some of the basics you like to find (salt& pepper, washing liquids etc). The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning. We were also able to do a load of laundry before continuing our road trip. The local was a bit of a hidden gem being in between the Lochs, the access by harbour was great and our boys really enjoyed having the place to themselves for a while. It was a...

“The room was great, really cozy and e perching you need. Tv had all the streaming services. Netflix, YouTube, prime etc stunning view over the much and down to scheihallion covered in snow. Only issue was the check in time which st 4pm is pretty late, I spoke to the lady in the next lodge to us who said they let her check in at 2. So we spent 2 hours up at the main hotel waiting. But other than that a very pleasant experience. Would definitely visit again in summer to make better use of the...
