âWe enjoyed our three night stay at The Brunswick Hotel very much. We had two rooms for five of us. We particularly enjoyed the dining room with its beautiful view of the sea. âStayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard. Will be coming back for a longer stay next time and would certainly recommend to friends and family or people in general đâ
âThe hotel has nice staff in the restaurant but otherwise it seemed that they really couldn't care less about taking care of customers. The room was dusty with old nails on the floor and the bathroom hadn't gotten a good cleaning in a long time. When this was pointed out to the staff they brushed of some parts and sprayed airfreshner all over the place. As for the public spaces in the hotel they could really need a brush up, especially the carpets (they smelled).

âWe have stayed here before and again got a family room for 3 nights. This one was better than the last one. We did not stay here for breakfast and went to Morrisons instead. There is limited parking at the hotel and overnight parking on the roads available. Ok if youâre off out for the day, they supply towels and a little bar of soap each. You need to supply shampoo etc. very friendly staffâ

W enjoyed a sea view room with a balcony. We were able to check in early and shown to the room. Local maps, guides and bus time tables were available. The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent.
This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. It is not The Ritz, nor does it pretend to be and offers a great location and reasonable prices.

âItÂŽs a really lovely, clean and comfortable hotel with nice staff and owners. The rooms and bathrooms were great and so was the breakfast. We also had a nice drink in the snug bar and breakfast was served with a smile and with beautiful views over the sea and the garden. This will be our favorite stay for our next visit.â

âSo glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical.
