I've scored 5 for everything except eco-friendliness, as I have an EV, a charger in the car park would have been very useful. Hotels of this quality are normally also much more expensive!”

“Perfekt läge med snubbelavstånd från snabbåtarnas terminal i västra Cowes. Litet hotell med mycket trevlig personal. Kanske var jag trött när jag anlände men definitivt bland de skönaste sängarna jag upplevt på ett hotell i Storbrittanien. Relativt slitet, okej frukost men i det hela så kan stället rekommenderas.”

“If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. “Friendly staff, checked in at the bar and even though it was busy the bartender was so friendly and showed us straight to the room with no wait. Comfy and well decorated room. Breakfast was great (they can do vegan if you ask and had 0 fuss). ”

“It´s a really lovely, clean and comfortable hotel with nice staff and owners. The rooms and bathrooms were great and so was the breakfast. We also had a nice drink in the snug bar and breakfast was served with a smile and with beautiful views over the sea and the garden. This will be our favorite stay for our next visit.”

“Welcoming, hard working and professional staff. W enjoyed a sea view room with a balcony. We were able to check in early and shown to the room. Local maps, guides and bus time tables were available. The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent. This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. It is not The Ritz, nor does it pretend to be and offers a great location and reasonable prices. The breakfast was substantial, although we would have preferred a few...
