Nice quiet few days.
Adequate for two people. All rooms tidy and clean and plenty of towels provided. Kitchen clean except for the stove oven (very grease stained/splattered and not scrubbed for months/perhaps years). Use of entry to property outside key box was not adequately explained other than providing the security code. Couldn’t open the key box until we had to force it open to access the keys. After that, we enjoyed our quiet visit and being close to town and the lake.

We will ensure to mention the stove to our cleaning service but wish you would have called us so we could have remedied it during your stay. . We are sorry the key lockbox was an issue but my husband did walk you through it on the phone. We even had a neighbor on stand by to assist if needed. We try to ensure each of our guests have a pleasurable time at out cabin and if there are issues, we are always very responsive in order to remedy an issues.

Perfect Cabin
We have stayed here every summer for the last few years and as always, we enjoyed our stay!! The cabin has everything you need, a perfect location and the owners are wonderful!! Our family loves this cabin and can’t wait to come back!

Felt like home
This cabin was perfect for our families first vacation with our 13 month old. Was clean and plenty of room. Was suprised how big the bathroom! The neighborhood was QUIET which was very nice since we live in the city. Will definitely be back.

weekend get-away
This cozy cabin was perfect for myself and my two adult daughters. the bedrooms were very comfortable , the bathroom was large for a small cabin and the kitchen was well supplied and handy to use! we stayed from Friday till Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed the cabin. the nights were cool but the heater worked great to keep us very comfortable. I would stay there again.

Adorable cabin!

My favorite family vacation
We just stayed here for 4 days this last weekend and it was our favorite family vacation so far. My kids 4 & 6 had such a great time! When we arrived the property was covered in beautiful untouched snow and my kids have never seen snow before! We got to enjoy snow play without even leaving the cabin. My children slept in one room and my husband and I in the other. The beds were perfect size for 2 and comfortable and warm. We really enjoyed the living room fire place as well. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all cooking utensils we needed as we cooked all of our meals there. My favorite part was watching the sunset each night from the kitchen table. The view is AMAZING. The neighborhood was very quiet and great for going on walks. The owners were also very easy to contact when we had questions about anything. We hope to come back again someday!

Cute cozy cabin at Shaver Lake
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and had everything needed to be comfortable. The kitchen is orderly and had plenty of pans, utensils, and room for two to cook a nice meal. The bedrooms were comfy and included plenty of pillows and bedding. The outside patio had a cute table and chairs where we spent a lot of time enjoying the nice weather this weekend. The location is great, right in the Village of a Shaver Lake and near the stores and restaurants, yet very quiet. Would like to go again soon!

Cozy cabin in Shaver
We enjoyed staying in this cabin for a weekend getaway with our two teenage sons. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and we used the grill and patio seating. It was a warm weekend so the fans in the cabin were appreciated. We love Shaver Lake and this cabin was comfortable.

Cabin needs a thorough deep cleaning
We liked the layout of the cabin with two bedrooms. We felt the entire place needed a good cleaning. The mantel had items on it that were obviously dusted around, not moved. Corners of the room are dusty and not vacuumed in a long time. The vacuum cleaner doesn't work well, despite OUR removing the dustbin and cleaning the filter. The carpet has sharp tacks protruding where it meets the tile in the kitchen. Carpet hasn't been cleaned in ages or is so badly stained it can't be cleaned. The dishes/pots&pans/glasses etc. are really old chipped and mismatched. Food in storage containers (and in some cases the original package) were in such quantity, there was little room for our own groceries in the cabinets. Sorry for the tough review but as a previous cabin owner, I expected better.

We always appreciate feedback from our guests and Ms. Maga sent me an email after her check out detailing her "concerns." I was quick to forward her concerns regarding cleanliness to our housekeeping service and I also let Ms. Maga know that the carpet was being replaced in September. Ms. Maga had a long list of things she thought we could improve if we wanted return guests. Many of these are her personal opinion. We are very proud of our little cabin. We are reasonably priced, flexible with check in/out, and very communicative and responsive. Because of this, we have return guests every season. If you are still reading this, please go take a look at our other reviews here as well as on Airbnb. We have an overall rating of 4.8-4.9 with over 130 reviews. We are definitely not a 5 star resort, but we take pride in our rustic little cabin in the mountains. Most of our guest would agree that this is a great place to stay!

Cute and cozy

Comfortable, Convenient little cabin.
This was my second time staying at this cabin. It never disappoints. Convenient, quiet location right in town. Plenty of parking and my favorite thing....no stairs to deal with. :) Owners are wonderful hosts, with a basket of dog treats & bowls in case you need them for your fur family member. The location and neighborhood makes morning dog walks easy and peaceful.

Interesting Cabin
Phone does not work, it is dead. The place was great had everything we needed. I would suggest raising the bedroom floors to the living room floor, the steep step is dangerous and unnecessary. Also directions should explain that the key fits the sliding glass backdoor not the front door. The driveway is very steep and could use gravel or paving. Large parking area was great.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. The cabin is 100 years old and the bedrooms used to be a porch and that is why they are a step down from the living room. We love it just the way it is. The key set actually has keys to both doors. We will be sure to check the phone. We always welcome feedback and send our phone number to guests just in case they have any issues.
