READ THIS REVIEW- Sorry its a little long, but worth it. I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help future travelers. Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. As others who have negatively reviewed the Amrit mentioned, Do NOT believe the fake five star reviews. I should have believed the negative ones be for we booked our stay. The positive reviews are clearly phony and do not reflect the actual hotel experience. My son was injured on our first day at the resort which I will detail below.The Amrit is both a hotel and residence. We rented a unit from an owner through VRBO. for a week in April. The unit itself was nice, spacious and generally clean. BUT the hotel is a disaster. Like someone else said, from a distance it looks high-end and luxurious, but once you look a bit closer you'll start noticing the faults. This was clearly built very quickly and rushed.The construction quality was very poor. The overall build felt cheap and hastily done, with unfinished molding and cracks in the floors and poorly sealed windows. The staff tries to be friendly, but they clearly haven't been trained properly and seem very confused and overwhelmed.As I mentioned, my son was injured in the elevator, but was lucky that he wasn't more severely hurt.
