“When I arrived at the hotel and had checked in I discovered that the hotel had put me in an smoking room and no non-smoking room was available in the same class. They could only downgrade me to an non smoking single room and change the room next day. I agreed since my wife wouldn't show up until the next day. “I would recommend for couples or solo travel.
Yes the room is a bit basic but for central Mumbai you could not get cleaner, quieter or safer.
Short walk to Mumbai central train station and taxis always outside at any time, literally.
Staff were outstanding - always available and more than happy to help. Really friendly people.
There is a seating area out the front which is great to get out of the room for a while - completely safe and nobody approaches you from the street.

“The hotel behind Saifee Hospital. A side entrance a bit difficult to locate. No elevators..one has to climb 2sets of stairs/2x21=42 straight steps!!! Few rooms smelled high humidity.. the whole inside walls was tiled with what looks like rcream bricks and outline done with green marble. Positive:
Great location near shops, train station, walkable to Central Mumbai area, good big bed deluxe big room, clean.
Negative:
They don't provide toilet paper ! noisy employees all night in the corridor...

“Booked on-line easy check in, room clean. Bathroom was pretty clean. Great wifi.helpful staff.Except the the bed linen it didn't feel clean. Cushions had lots of blood like stains which you could see through the covers. I used my own blanket and used a Tshirts over the Cushions. When i complained they didn't think it was a big deal..as im from the uk my expectations of cleanliness was very high compared to there's.
