“Expérience parfaite, bons repas, ambiance charmante. Parfait pour les familles, j'y étais avec mes deux enfants.”

“The staff was amazing, the young man that checked me in and the 3 young black African men 5 stars ✨. Also, I was able to have my breakfast the day I arrived instead of when I left. The raid spray in the room on the counter and the hair on the bathroom floor were a no for me.”

“The staff was very welcoming even when we arrived extremely early in the morning. They held onto our bags and they were in the room when we checked in later. They made sure we had everything we needed.”

“Philo Hotel is a small family-owned budget hotel situated on the third floor in a depilated but beautiful architecture apartment block in central downtown Cairo, close to Tahrir square. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My room was clean and spacious, equipped with a hard but still comfortable double bed, tv (Arabic channels only), private shower, balcony, and two large windows facing the street. But since the hotel is situated in an old apartment and the furniture may have seen its best...

“Staff and place was great. Location was great too. Only complaint is that they did not honor what we paid for. We paid for city view and got an alley view.”

“Nosotros dejamos el hotel el primer dia, debido a que el hotel estaba en mantenimiento, pintura por todas partes, basura y pedazos de construcción a la entrada. El hotel está esta dentro de un viejo y mal mantenido edificio.”

“Nice kitchen and great common area. The staff was amazing and took good care of me. Excellent location. AC in rooms runs without gatekeeping. Privacy curtains. Lots of showers and bathroom. Needs a deep clean like most busy places and the AC s do need service as the could be much colder. I do recommendthis hostel .”

“A very nice hotel with a perfect location right just in front of the egyptian museum at the Tahrir Square. The rooms are very clean and fresh with a nice private toilet. The staff are very helpful and serviceminded. We can highly recommend this hotel when you’re in the centre of Cairo. ”

“This place is not a hotel , it’s a hustle, photos are not real. It’s busy and all booked , but I will not go back and do not recommend it. Not clean at all. Take your own bed sheets and towel . Sheets and towels are dirty and old very very old . We stayed 2 nights and they didn’t come to clean. The place smells , washroom smells not good the whole bedroom even. Safe box wasn’t working neither . Bathroom floor was wet and very smelly in a bad way. Lots of moisture inside the shower . Your Egypt...

“Good breakfast and location , the rest has room for improvement considering it is a supposed 5 star hotel.”

“We had to stay a night here as our original hotel wouldn't allow an early check in so we found this last minute. For the price you get what you pay for. AC didn't work so we had to keep balcony door open at night. It was walkable to shops and restaurants open late at night so that was good. Area seemed like heavily local and not touristy. The breakfast in the morning was good given the price.”

“Väldigt rent, städpersonalen höll kontinuerligt rent överallt, på toaletter och badrum. Personalen har koll på bokningar, arrangemang osv. Bra engelska. Varma täcken på rummen. Ett enkelt hostel mitt i Cairo. Har inga klagomål. ”

“設備も整っており、スタッフもとても親切。”

“Vänlig och hjälpsam personal! Toa/duschavloppet behövde rensas, blev översvämning i badrummet, men vi fick hjälp av personalen. Bra frukost, supertrevlig frukostpersonal.”

“Personal v snälla, plats v jätte dåligt pgv högjud ute,nej passar inte till familj”
