“Accommodation was absolutely spotless. The decor and furnishings are lovely, even had a christmas tree and decorations, it was so warm and cosy. The hosts left us some provisions, which was appreciated. The location was perfect for us, nice and quiet, with an enclosed patio area so our dogs were nice and safe. Nice walks in the area, pity the pub wasn't open as its literally 5 min walk away. Skipton is only 8 minutes drive away. Would definitely book to stay here again and will recommend to...

“Good for all the family”

“This property was perfect for our needs. We loved the location, the amenities were as described, and Dan responded to questions very quickly. We stayed 2 weeks; using public transportation the entire time was very convenient and allowed us to hike, explore and fall in love with Yorkshire. We hope to repeat the entire experience in the future. ”

“Dale Side was perfect for our stay, mother, daughter and dog. The house was immaculate and in a perfect location to walk to bars and restaurants. We were lucky to get parking directly outside the house for our 3 day stay. We completed the circular walk from skipton, up Sharp Haw and back for a refreshing drink in the Curious Fox. After our walks it was lovely to come back to our comfortable home for a warm shower and back out for delicious food at the woolly sheep. Would definitely return to...

“A lovely property that has been recently renovated to provide a modern, but cosy base for exploring Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. The fire and excellent heating system ensured the property was warm and welcoming even with very cold days. Only single drawback is the busy road on the doorstep, but we were aware of this before arriving and the noise was not as bad as some had commented.”

“A truly spectacular property in very good condition, with everything you could need. Scrupulously clean. Well equipped kitchen which was a joy to cook in. Lots of comfy places to curl up with a book or join in family games. The pool is gorgeous. The only setback for us was that the house is very isolated and there was nothing (apart from spectacular walks and views) for miles around, so every trip or meal out for our group of 11 meant 3 people did a lot of driving, on top of long journeys to...

“Weel what can i say. This oroperty was absolutely perfect for our wedding party. Can you imagine 6 women getting ready at the same time. Well no need to worry there where more bathrooms than we needed. “We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Ideal for our family get-together. The beds are really comfortable, lots of spaces to hang out in the house, the area is magic- roll out of the front door and you are by the river or can go on glorious riverside walks from the front door. The Aga was lovely and warm and the property was well equipped, we had everything we needed. For us the photos didn't do it justice, The Old Post Office was comfortable, characterful and very spacious.”
