“River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we...

“Louise and Matt made us very welcome and the cottage had everything we needed including all kitchen essentials.The garden is very relaxing and we were glad to be able to find lots of cool shady areas in the very hot weather that we had during our stay.Quite nicely situated for visiting the Lizard area and not too far to drive to get to the Penzance and Cape Cornwall areas. Recommended for garden lovers.”

It provided much-needed comfort and cosiness in a transitional period of our lives, as we explored the area and my son began his time in a new school. The owner was very responsive to questions. It definitely has a lived-in vibe: the owner lives there when not away, and it gives the property a very particular character!”

“The house was very pleasant ,the gardin was delightfull .The environment was very quiet.We had a good stay in Cornwall.But we think that the room which is describe as a 2eme bathroom is just a shower in the toilet. This room is really cramped .”

Mousehole is delightful & within easy reach of spectacular beaches, the South West Coastal path and lots of ancient sites.
