“I really loved the room on the top floor facing Dover Castle. It was like having a wonderful piece of art just outside the window. I also loved the whiteness and the minimalistic interiors of the place. I used the kitchenette and it was totally fine except from the fridge which was so cold my fresh vegetables froze. “Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. “Really average in all, only Ok if you’re on budget. Bedside commode wasn’t clean, which made me suspicious of the cleanliness of the bedding as well, so I slept on the duvet. Bathtub upstairs wasn’t clean on the checking in night, and it was occupied by the host for 1hr before check out time, so we had to use the shower downstairs…”

“Parking was easy and the place was remarkably clean! I’d advise bringing extra laundry detergent and such just in case as we couldn’t use the washer. Everything else was amazing - highly recommend! ”
