Great Location!

This property was a great location! Walking distance to the beach and a short drive to most restaurants. It could have been cleaner when we checked in. Also- there is NOT a dishwasher. There is also not a power plug in in the bathroom off the bedroom. Overall, it’s a good place to stay.

Never again

I rarely give bad reviews but this place was not was up to par. First of all I had to contact the property manager to get the room number and the code to get in. She kept referencing the welcome letter. I got it but no where in there was the information because if it was I wouldn’t be contacting her. Then she responded with “ yeah sometimes the pictures cover up the information”. If that is the case most of the time, then maybe make a new letter. In a nut shell the beds were like sleeping on springs. The from door and sliding patio door were janky. There was no wash clothes to use. There were 3 tv in the condo but none of them worked. There was a cable box but not cable. I couldn’t even log into my own Netflix account because it was locked. What place doesn’t have a working tv? I will never again stay at this property.

Nice Place for the money but you get what you pay for.

Never got my email with the instructions on how to access the room. No room number or anything. Had to call Vrbo customer service to get my room number with the access code to get in. So missed the first night. Then when we got there , the TV's didn't work, they had no service, so called the service provider and they said that the owner had not paid the bill, so we were without TV the whole time we were there. Two nights because we missed out on the first night. Bummer!

Winter Get Away

Property was very spacious and clean. Could have had more towels and wash cloths. We were there for a week and each bath had 2 towels and 1 wash cloth. No dish cloth for washing dishes. Was in good location for getting to bus but weather was windy, cold and rainy so made it harder to get out. Would suggest renting a golf cart to get around if you don't have a rental car. Walk to beach wasn't very far. Only real negative was that we paid for late checkout which allowed us to be there until 1:00 which apparently this was not communicated to the cleaning person. We came back from Brunch at the Holiday Inn and all beds were stripped and towels were gone. While we were sitting there waiting for shuttle she just unlocked the doors and came in.

Not recommend at all!

This property was not clean. There was terrible mold. The main door to the condo is falling apart so it made it hard to close and lock. We we’re not given our pool bracelets. Overall this stay at this property was disgusting and extremely disappointing!

Horrible host and very poor amenities

Beware....Advertised a king bed in the master but it was a queen. when I asked about it the host said oh, we didn't update the website. The cups provided were local plastic bar cups, the cookware was horrible. I would love to provide pictures. There were holes in the wall covered in blue masking tape and a picture over it. The AC filter looked like it had never been changed. This trip was a gift but I'm afraid it turned into a disaster and a host that didn't care at all. Terrible host.

Ok placeT

This was ok for our family for our quick trip to the island. A few things I didn’t care for.. for 5 people we had 3 towels and a tea towel in the kitchen. Luckily for us this was a quick trip and we didn’t do much cooking, and we weren’t there long enough for the small number of towels to be an issue. Sure you can do laundry but the washers and dryers are upstairs and it costs 2 bucks to wash and 1.75 to dry on a coin machine. Also we never were given the bracelets for the pool. I assumed because it was December maybe that’s why. We went to the hot tub but the “family” one wasn’t working. Luckily no one was there so the kids got in the “adult” hot tub. Some positives were the host was quick to respond when we had a question about check in, the corner location of the condo was good for us. And overall it was an ok place to stay.

Overall the condo and complex were very nice. Location was perfect for the beach, not much of a view as this is a ground floor unit overlooking the parking lot. Unfortunately there were no BBQs as advertised. For the first 3 week of our stay they were being replaced. We ended up purchasing a propane BBQ. The kitchen was not fully equiped, it was missing measuring utensils, steak knives, small spoons and other items, can opener did not work, the large blender was missing the actual container. Someone in the condo complex lent us one to use for the month. There were no sealed storage containers. The pots were not in good condition we had to purchase one and we did thankfully bring our own frying pans. The baking pans were rusted and not safe to use. There was a hand towel but no tea towels or anything to wash up with. When staying for a month it would have been nice to have extra towels and linens so you can replace them while laundering others. We found out from tennants that we should not drink the tap water after being in the condo for a few days. We were advised to use the filtered water from the laundry room. The balcony chairs have lost their sealed coating so if you sit on them you end up with a chalking covering on your clothes. The closets were all locked so there was limited storage. There was a coat stand which so you could hang some clothing on a limited basis. Tennants and maintenance stay were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed visiting SPI and hope to return.

Confusing

On December 30 I paid the full amount due and have a copy of invoice now I am being charged more and I don’t understand what’s going on. I am an 86-year-old woman and I am accused of breaking the microwave and a stool cover . The first time I tried to open the microwave the handle fell off in my hand I think it must’ve been glued on anyway I am not happy. The only good part is I got a good laugh at my bridge club when I told the ladies that I was accused of breaking A microwave and a stoool cover.

Amazing!

The place was clean and very close to beach access. Everything we needed was at the condo so we didn’t need to buy many things. The pool was nice and way bigger than we expected. The pool are had a place to host parties and have nice small get togethers. Over all this place was amazing and we would definitely stay here again
