“Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road.
The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching.
Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit. ”

“Very interesting concept for a B&B, there is no contact with the owner yet everything is extremely well communicated and provided for your use and comfort. The owner does live on site and just a text away.
It was quaint, clean, comfortable and quiet all you need for a little get away.”

“We had a lovely stay at Bonnie View. The 2 bedroom cabin was clean and modern and the amenities were nice. The restaurant and patio were closed but we found good food in town about a 8 minute drive away. ”

“Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. ”

“Room was small and only had ceiling light. No bedside lamps. Bed could be better. Location was good for us to get to park or over to Kingsville. Had use of full size fridge which was very helpful. Shared bathroom which did not pose any problems for us. Parking on site.”

“Danby House is a very inviting bed and breakfast. It is extremely clean - zero dust, beds made to perfection, you feel like you are in an expensive hotel, bathrooms clean and shiny with soaps and towel, etc. The rooms are exactly as the photos describe/show online. I have stayed more than once and it is my go to when I'm in the area.
