Nice location, superb English breakfast, superb room. Everything was great.
The only negative we can mention is that Carrington Arms can be hard to find first time. You should search the city of "Moulsoe" on your GPS - not Newport Pagnell.

Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly.

Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issueâ
âFrom the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The room was comfortable & toiletries were provided. We had an evening meal there, and food was wonderful.
The staff and owner were first class, I'd definitely recommend staying there.â
âThe Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! Lovely outside area and caters for Dogs. â

But very noisy with guest's not taking consideration for other guests.1 guest in court yard carpark for over an hour shouting on his telephone . And banging of doors .i felt it was a hotel used for the homeless and other private clients. â
âJust got back from a two night stay at this very comfy cottage. Everything was there that was needed. Bed was really comfy and we really felt at home. Alex was so friendly and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast brought to us each morning which was just perfect. We would definately return and recommend to friends. Thanks for a great stay!â
âThe staff were very welcoming. The room was amazing. The breakfast choices were varied. My wife had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and i had the big full english, both of which were cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. We highly recommend you stay here if you get the chance.â
âI came in June 2025 and came back in August 2025 and was just as pleased as the first stay. Perfect location, very clean rooms,,the staff is perfect informative and always helpful. My room was perfect with a perfect view. My first stay in June was for 6 nights and this stay in August was for 6 nights. You step out of the hotel directly to your safe boardwalk and it is located next to the town for all you needs and comfort â

"Business trip....biiig hotel. Great breakfast. Many parking spaces BUT a very outdated system to register the vehicle for parking and virtually impossible for a foreigner such as myself. Luckily the hotel had an option to pay a fee at the reception. Tons of shopping and restaurants within walking distance."
"For the purpose, staying relatively cheaply and use it as a base for day trips (by car outside Luton), the hotel was sufficient (clean and OK breakfast). However, we feel that Hotels.com stated several things that were not correct: 1) The room did not have AC (possibly temporarily broken), 2) the room was not cleaned during the stay (4 days) and 3) parking was not included in the room but there were about 20 spaces in about 150 rooms (however, the hotel solved this by allowing us to park next to the reception."
