Thank you for your review Maxine. We strive to provide everything needed for a stress-free getaway. The instructions for check out simply ask to sweep IF needed (clumps of dog hair, food strung all over the floor or any other exuberant debris) mopping is never mentioned or required. The patio grills are difficult to maintain as they are kept out in the elements. Rusting grates and burner plates are normal. We apologize if it was dirty, as it is normally burned off/cleaned between guests, however we were on vacation, and it may have been overlooked before your arrival. I will check to ensure the grate brush is still there to use in such cases. Using foil on a public grill is a practice we use when we travel, just in case. We are happy that your overall experience was 4 star and will work towards earning a 5 star for any future visits.

We are glad you had a wonderful stay and thank you for sharing your appreciation for our property and what we offer. It is very unfortunate that there are so many areas throughout Oklahoma-actually all over the US, that are subject to the same disregard. Traveling to some of the most beautiful places and hidden gems, sometimes takes a tour past the less sparkly.

We appreciate your review, although a bit disappointed in a 3 star rating. The exterior structure and interior decor/appearance is exactly as pictured. It is shocking as an owner the wear/tear and disregard some guests use while visiting, so much that furnishings need replaced to keep the property in good condition and rentable. We take pride in offering a clean, comfortable and tasteful property, therefore, we just finished updating a week before your stay. New paint, repaired tile work, new kitchen sink, replacing a love seat with a new chaise couch and new sturdy kitchen chairs. It is impossible and impractical to pay for new professional photos each time a piece of furniture is updated or replaced. I apologize if it wasn't the furniture expected, but can promise we would never downgrade. There should have been an extra blanket in the armoire, but if it was overlooked, contact info is provided to every guest for such requests.

I'm sorry you didn't realize you had stairs to go up, the photos are accurate as well as the title treehouse would assume it would be elevated to enter. I apologize if the fridge/freezer wasn't odor free to your standards, but can assure that the cleanliness and amenities that are offered far exceed other lodging options. As far as price....we are priced appropriately as we are NOT a motel...we offer privacy without hearing neighbors through the walls or ceiling.

We appreciate your review Steve and apologize for the smell of weed upon your arrival. It is unfortunate that a handful of guests don't respect our rules or the property, making it extremely difficult to eliminate the odor effectively between guests, but I did air the cabin, used multiple cleaners, sprays and removed all fabric items possible before your stay. I don't understand why stepping outside to smoke is such an inconvenience for some. Appologies again!

We certainly appreciate your understanding with the circumstances upon your arrival. It is unfortunate that people can't step outside to smoke....I can't say I'm sorry enough. I'm glad that you looked past the issue and made a great trip by utilizing the lake activities we offer.

So happy everyhing about your stay was a great experience! The stairs can be alot if making several trips up and down, but hopefully you were expecting them, as they are pictured in the photos. We do have other cabin options that have less steps, but still offer that fantastic view. Hope you can make it back for another visit.

The drive around the lake is beautiful,but yes, unfortunately-we can't do much with the last mile of travel. Glad to hear that once you were inside the gates of the property, your stay was amazing and well worth the trip.
