“We've stayed at other VRBO locations, but we've never had the host reach out to us by phone call prior to our arrival to check in and see if we had any questions or concerns. I could tell he had a genuine interest in making sure we were all set for our stay at the property. The home and the property were both great, clean, well kept, and you can't beat the lakeside location. My wife and I stayed for one night, felt very comfortable, enjoyed the dock and quiet lake, and relaxed in the hot tub....

I would not have rented the unit if I knew it was required. Ive rented many units around the world for years from VRBO and never had such detailed identity requirements.
