“We were a Swedish couple in our early 30s who stayed 9 nights in the cottage around midsommar. The cottage is beautiful, and so luxurious for the price. The kitchen is more well equipped than my kitchen at home! Cosy fireplace and TV sofas. Great outdoor porch, grill and outdoor table/chairs, we both danced and played board games on that porch :) The bedroom downstairs with double bed had great curtains to make the room dark, something which is really important for me. “My wife and I, together with family and friends, had some splendid days in this impressive house with great views over the water from the large terrace (we also rented the nice little house by the water’s edge). The host was more than helpful in answering questions both before and during our stay (thanks again, Mikael). The house – beautifully decorated and furnished, and located in a charming area – has everything you might need (and more). And the closeness to a large grocery store, liquor...

“This was an ideal property for our family group of ten, five adults and five children, ranging in age from 5 to18. The house has plenty of room and flexible accommodation. The woodland setting of the house is delightful and the close proximity of a lovely swimming lake a great bonus.”

“Wunderschöne Lage! Es ist ein gemütliches, schlichtes, vollständig ausgestattestes Haus mit tollem Blick. Die Gastgeberinnen waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln da - das geht gut (einmal umsteigen bzw. eine knappe Stunde bis Stockholm). Nur der Supermarkt ist weit weg. Vor Ort ist einzig der Strandkiosk.”

“It was terrible. The description described another house which is next to the ones you're getting. You get three separate houses in which you can sleep in. They are messy, dirty and uncomfortable. You don't get a blanket or a pillow. Also the door leading to the terass is broken and they fixed it with a lath to prevent people from come in. Definitely not worth the money. We left and try to get our money back.”

“The house is as good as the pictures. The views are even better. It’s on top of a hill and you have about a 270 degree view. It’s about a five minute drive from the main road , about 25 to nearest urban areas. A very easy 45 minute drive from the city Owner was very helpful and good communication. This is really one of the top properties on VRBO. Thank you for sharing the view. ”

“Das Haus war perfekt für uns. Die Kinder hatten ihre eigene Hütte und konnten sich zurückziehen. Es war unglaublich still und man konnte perfekt zur Ruhe kommen. In 5 Minuten war man am Meer und konnte baden oder angeln. In 15 Minuten war man an der Bushaltestelle und hatte sehr gute Verbindung nach Stockholm. Ein nettes Dorf in der Nähe, sowie ein Hafen von wo aus man eine Bootsfahrt in den Schären machen konnte oder ein Kajak zum paddeln leihen.”
